The Basics
There are 4 basic mounts that can be purchased from the Horse Dealer in any major city (cities that can be owned by guilds). Which horses you can buy depends on the city and level range for that city.
Level 20-40 City:
- Flaxen Horse
- Brown Horse
Level 50-70 City:
- Flaxen Horse
- Brown Horse
- Black Horse
Level 90-100 City:
- Flaxen Horse
- Brown Horse
- Black Horse
- White Horse
NOTE: There are no Horse Dealers in towns or ports.

NOTE: All current event rewarded mounts have no Enchants and 1/1 Equips.
Mount Training
- Mount Enchanting is done at the Horse Trainer in any town or city.
- Mount Training is best used on a pretty lame and useless mount. For example, a mount with red level, red speed, red def, etc. What the Training does is give a whole new, random set of stats for that mount, however requires the use of an item, and each train uses up 1 Equip. Once the Equips of a mount is down to 1 you will be unable to train it any more.
- Mount Training will not increase the maximum Enchants or Equips.
Success rate: 80%
Items Required:
- A Mount
and either
- Buck Grass (For level 1-100 mounts) (1 per Train)
or
- Superior Buck Grass (For level 101-200 mounts) (1 per Train)
Mount Enchanting
Mount Enchanting is done at the Horse Trainer in any town or city.
Enchants Available:
- Dodge - Dodge increases 1-4 per enchant
- Dex - Dex increases 1-4 per enchant
- Con - Con increases 1-4 per enchant
Success rate: 60%
Items Required:
- A Mount
and
- Trainer's Secret Medicine (1 per Enchant)
and either
- Mysterious Reaction Stone (5 per Enchant)(for Dodge and Dex only)
or
- Mysterious Physique Stone (5 per Enchant)(For Con only)
Additional Items for Training & Enchanting:
Fire Spirit's Blessing - Mounts will not become exhausted due to training failure, and will not lose an enchantment slot due to enchantment failure. However training failure will consume 1 Equips slot.
Fire Spirit's Protection - Increases training and enchant success rates by 10%
Mount Mating
To mate two mounts, first of all you need to speak to the Horse Trainer in any city or town and choose the "Mount Mating" option. Please note that when you mate two mounts those mounts disappear and you gain one new mount. However, different mounts can only be mated with other specific mounts. Read below for mount combinations.
It's often a good idea to mate red stat mounts, especially mounts with red Equips or Enchahnts, in the hope of receiving a much better one.
