The Darkness That Surrounds Me (My Story!!) Part 16: Healing, the next battle, and the strange get away....
omg, so here it is! Sorry this wasn't made earlier... to much stuff going on in my life. hehe, but you wait no longer! it's here! (finally after 15 weeks) so... I had this chapter written by hand for months, I just wasn't able to type it until now.. Sorry! But; this chapter is pretty good size, so it should be fine. Alright? Hehe.. oh yeah, this chapter is gonna be coolio moolio~! So tell me what you think of it after you read it, alright? Okay, now read on!

STORY START!!!!
--No one's P.O.V.--
After a long while of silence; Buddy soon spoke, "I know a place... um.. where he can heal." he remarked, walking over to the white bloody wolf then slowly placing the wounded god onto his back. Isabel looked at Buddy and nodded, she then looked at Brad, "Do you agree, Brad?" "Yeah, let's go before the cougars come back." Brad replied. Buddy nodded and all three, started west. Towards the deep forest cougar territory....
--Masquerade's P.O.V.--
After Isabel ran off somewhere, me and Shab were stuck practically in the middle of no where, with snow brushing against us. Shab shook my arm a bit, as I glanced over at him, "We should go find her." "But how, Mas?" Shad asked. I slightly shrugged, having no idea, until we started hearing someone coming up to us. "Hello!?" I shouted, as I but my cold hands around my mouth. No response... just a wolf walking up to us. It didn't seem dangerous; and it just simply looked at us. "This way.." it said, as I jumped a little in shock. It talked!? I brushed off that fact, and followed the wolf as Shab followed behind..
--No One's P.O.V.--
Isabel, Snowy, Brad, and Buddy were dead silent as they all started towards the deep forest. In Isabel's view, she could see them passing by the deadly village; the cougar village. She watched them all, as the 4 of them tried to get passed. "See anyone spot us, Isabel?" Brad whispered as quietly as he could. Isabel shook her head; no one had yet to spot them, so it was clear. They were almost out of range from the village until.. misfortune hit them..
--Isabel's P.O.V.--
"Run!!" I screamed, as I saw Scar running towards us with furious speed. Everyone immediately started sprinting as fast as cheetahs as Scar started to catch up. Buddy had almost dropped Snowy off his back, but Brad helped the helpless wolf back on. All the others got away and out of sight; but Scar suddenly caught up to me. I couldn't run, as I didn't have a chance.. the cougar showed his massive teeth, as he spoke, "Isabel... I see you're still in good condition.. let's... change that." I then got furious, and punched the big cat right in the nose. WHAM! The cougar yelped as he flew back. Scar had a small cut on his nose, as he was about to get back up. I grinned, and ran off to catch up with Brad and the others, getting away from the danger of the cougar tribe....
--Masquerade's P.O.V.--
So... cold.. I was shivering to my heart's content, as Shab and I followed the wolf. We started seeing cliffs, and mountains and soon... a cave? Moments of minutes went by, as we got to the cave. The wolf slightly showed his head towards the cave, as if saying to go first. 'He can talk, so why doesn't he?' I thought to myself, as I walked in. The cave was wet, and warm. A small but thick path led into the cave and myself and Shab followed in...
~An hour later~
It seemed forever inside the cave, as we soon got towards a small light. "Light! Finally!" I said, with slight tiredness in my voice. Shab chuckled, amused as I started walking faster to get out of the cave. But.. as we got to the light, all there was... was a lake, trees, another entrance, and rock cliffs surrounding. "Dammit..." was all I could say, with a disappointed look on my face.Shab laughed at me, as I looked at the wolf, "Trust me, we must stay here." the wolf said. I sighed, irritated, and walked over to the lake, and put a hand in. INSTANTLY, I felt good as new! I smiled, and took off my shoes, placing my feet into the water, and stayed just as the wolf requested...
--No one's P.O.V.--
A long time had gone passed, ever since Brad, Buddy, Isabel, and Snowy has all gone towards the western part. ~rumbles grumble~ "ugh...I'm hungry!" was the complaint from Brad, and Isabel. "You can wait till we get to the cave!" Buddy growled, irritated. "But-!" "NO BUT! JUST WAIT!" Buddy yelled, growling and glaring at the two complainers. Isabel and Brad both shivered and hid behind a tree as Buddy calmed down and started walking again. Brad and Isabel soon followed after, quiet as a mouse. Besides the growling of their stomach. The good thing for Buddy, was that he completely ignored the hunger sounds from the two, and kept going on....
--Scar's P.O.V.--
"That **** pathetic girl!" I yelled, walking towards Furo's quarters. Oh, how those humans annoy me! and how could she be powerful enough to save everything!? Pathetic. I sighed as Furo got into view and he gave me a look. Instantly; "You idiot!" Furo yelled, throwing a chain spiked ball at me. Quickly, I dodged it but somehow a bit of my leg got hit. I flinched and looked at him as he gave a quick order. I growled slightly, "Man.. he's a bastard..." I thought, going towards the main field, completing his order...
--Isabel's P.O.V.--
After such a long time! We finally reached a cave. It was warm inside, and also had rock spikes coming from the roof of the cave. "Now just another hour at the most, and we'll be there. Just hurry your pace and the faster we get there." Buddy explained. I nearly collapsed at the word 'hour'! "Fine...." I mumbled, as Brad and I followed Buddy...
~About 2o or so minutes later~
It hadn't been long since we started into the cave since our pace got faster, and we started to see light! I looked at Brad, and smiled at him, but he didn't notice. Typical.. Suddenly, I started to hear familiar voices as we came closer to the light, "You hear that?" I asked the two. With their confused looking faces, they shook their heads and continued walking. I sighed, and followed, as I was pretty much in the middle of all of us. Moments later, we came to a sudden area, with a huuge lake trees and more. I wondered why we were here but all well. Buddy knew what he was doing, as he dropped Snowy into the lake and a bubble went around Snowy. "He'll heal. Let's just get out of here." Buddy said. Brad looks at Snowy, and watched. I joined, until Buddy started growling. I looked swiftly at Buddy, confused, "whats wrong?" I asked. He just kept growling. Suddenly, "Isabel!" Instabtly, I got tackle-hugged to the ground. I opened my eyes to see Massy! "Hi!" he said looking at me. I smiled, as he got off. "Hi, Massy. How'd you get here?" I asked. "Some wolf showed Me and shab." he replied, as Buddy walked over to me, "Who is he, and how does he know you?" "That's Masquerade, and he's a friend of mine" I explained, calmly as to see Buddy relax. "Well, he shouldn't really get involved in our worry." Brad said, gazing over at Massy, as Shab stood next to him. Buddy nodded, but then looked at Brad, "But.. he might help, in our battle and jobs." "Yeah, and Shab too." I added. We all then agreed, and headed back out of the cave the way we came and headed towards the cougar's territory...
--No one's P.O.V.--
Once all the gang; Isabel, Brad, Masquerade, Shab, and Buddy got passed the Cougar village; they walked to the entrance of the wolf village. One they all got to the main hut of the village, Buddy looked at Brad, Masquerade, and Shab. "You are not to tell anyone about where this village is, alright? Sorry if I repeat myself, but DON'T do it." He explained, as everyone understood. Masquerade and Shab followed Buddy to get a tour of the village and everyone else acted normal; every day attitude..
--Isabel's P.O.V.--
Masquerade and Shab, were getting a tour around by Buddy, I heard so I just went to do my job. Winter was actually going to end soon! I couldn't wait, "I just hope I can see Spring here.." I thought aloud. "I bet you will, don't worry." someone said. I looked behind me, to see Brad. I slightly smiled, and continued cleaning a dirty hut. "I hope you're right. cause after this war and stuff, I think I'll be heading home.." I explained, dipping a warm cloth into water. He chuckled, watching me and patted my shoulder, "The was is probably far from over, so I'm still saying you'll see spring here." He said, denying my theory of leaving before spring. Sighing, I finished up my cleaning job and got up, putting everything away. Brad shrugged, and followed after; as I walked back to the main hut. Everyone was walking through the hallways and Brad shouted at me. I looked over at him, confused and saw him pointing to Buddy, Masquerade and Shab. "Finally!" I chuckled a bit, going over to all of them. "So you like the village?" Brad asked, and Massy & Shab gleefully nodded. Brad chuckled, "Good, it's nice here so I bet you'll be fine." he added, I smiled at all of them. "umm... so can we go wander around and talk to some people?" Massy asked. "Sure, shouldn't be a problem, right?" I piped up, as Buddy nodded. Massy and Shab left the main hut, and wandered off to watch and look around. As for Buddy, Brad, and I, we went towards the exit of the village...
--(Buddy's) Black Shadow's P.O.V.--
As I and the two humans, headed to the exit of 'our' village, I stopped at the one of the major guards. "Yes sir?" "Keep an eye on the new two guests..just in case." "Yes s-sir!" he replied, as I swiftly caught up to Isabel and Brad. Annoyed at the thick aura around, I tried to brush off the feeling, and lead the way out of us three.
--No One's P.O.V.--
"Psst," Brad made a sound, whispering to Isabel. She looked at him, as he chuckled a bit, "Izzy-chan," Isabel, right then got a annoyed face all over. " I DONT like being called that!" she glared, "Brad-kun." she said back. "But I'm aloud to call you Izzy-chan, remember?" Brad protested, knowing he was right. Isabel grumbled, irritated now. Brad laughed, patting her back, "relax, I won't call you it." Isabel rolled her eyes, calming down. Buddy soon sighed, and turned back to look at the two, "We're going close to the territory line, don't cross it or get lose." he explained. Brad and Isabel nodded their heads, upstanding and followed the black wolf...
--(Snowy's) White Sharino's P.O.V.--
"Ugh..." I mumbled. Good lord, it felt like someone was about to kill me now! I heard the sweet sound of water suddenly.. opening my eyes slowly, as if in slow motion.. I saw I was in lake's water!? I tried pawing my way up, which managed to happen.. When I surfaced, and got out of the water, dry I was. and the surroundings.. trees, flowers, and cave entrances. Black Shadow had brought me here, I felt it. I could still smell the stench of them, so I began my way out of the embraced cave, looking for my group...
--Brad's P.O.V.--
After a bit, we all came close to the territory line. It was visible, and I knew we all saw it. Isabel and I continued following Black Shadow, and surprisingly, no word was spoken. Black Shadow, myself, and Izzy had not talked since Black Shadow told us not to get lose; strange. "Are you guys all okay?" I managed to spit out, Buddy answered right after, "Indeed." was all he said. Isabel looked over at me, saying nothing but nodded slightly, agreeing. Something was up, but all I said was 'okay'.
--Isabel's P.O.V.--
Voices... heard from every direction.. It was so... annoying! Yet.. confusing.. "Let it out child.. let out your power of... Akataru.. Hinoshi." It kept repeating and repeating like a voice recorder going round and round. I wanted to scream, but fortunately I didn't. Also... the voice seemed familiar... all well. Suddenly, "Run into the bushes! Now!" Buddy growled. Brad and I both jumped into the snowy bushes as told..
--No one's P.O.V.--
Instantly, in a moment, cougars appeared as if out of no where around Buddy. Scar was infront of Buddy, and... his incident with Isabel, showed still on his now. "Well well well..." Scar chuckled at Buddy, "I see you hid the humans away before we came.. Smart little wolf you are." he said. Buddy growled, keeping his guard up. Scar gave the other cougars a look, and they all instantly started looking around. Isabel and Brad quickly reacted and ran off quietly towards the territory line.. as the other cougars looked around, Buddy grinned at Scar, "I see you got a good punch in the nose earlier, eh Scar?" "Shut it! That brat just didn't know anything else! I wasn't on guard." Scar snarled, furious. "Okay, okay..." Buddy chuckled. Scar then jumped at Buddy, trying to slash at him, but missed. The fight began...
--Meanwhile with Isabel and Brad--
Brad and Isabel, fled from the cougars and both ran down the hill to get next to the territory line. But unfortunately, a battle was starting a far in the high mountains. It was clearly noticeable by the fire created by Blazing Furo. "Should we go over there to help!?" Brad asked, looking at Isabel. "Alright, we should!" Isabel agreed. Both of them starting running towards the battle to help out...
--Black Shadow's P.O.V.--
Scar came at me another time, as I dodged the attack. I could feel he got a bit of my back leg, '****..' I thought to myself, swiftly turning to the cat's direction. I got into a jumping stance; jumped at the cat, then disappeared. Instantly reappearing behind the cougar, I hit him straight in the head. The cat yelped but then came to a heaping laugh, "Do you actually think this is a good waste of time!?! A battle attack is already started up in the mountains, and I bet your human friends will go there to their 'trap'!" Clenching my teeth together, I sprinted to a.s.a.p to the mountains; hoping my tribe and those two are safe...
--No one's P.O.V.--
~in the mountains~
Blood was already being shed, as wolves and cougars collided with each other; attacking. Blazing Furo had made the trees in the battle field, catch fire and smoke was painting the sky.. Isabel and Brad got to the scene and was slightly shocked to the see the cougars and Blazing Furo winning! "Dammit! We have to help them!" Isabel exclaimed. Brad nodded, and followed Isabel as she ran into the battle zone. Brad made lighting blades appear, and started at the cougars, as Isabel ran through everyone, going towards Blazing Furo...
--Black Shadow's P.O.V.--
'Great!' I yelled to myself, to see the nature's trees in flames. Running into the battle field, I found wolves and cougars slashing and attacking each other. Brad was helping a wolf fight; as I looked around for the girl, she was no where. Running to the boy, I helped attack the big felines, "Where is the girl!?" I asked; while fighting. "I think she went to find Furo!" He yelled back a swift answer. Full of speed; I ran through and past all the attacking armies and searched for the girl and Furo, before it was too late...
--Isabel's P.O.V.--
Keeping high tail, chasing after Blazing Furo, it got harder for me for breathe. "F- furo!" I yelled, trying to keep up. He kept running up the mountain to the top, and didn't show any sign of slowing down. Suddenly, out of the blue, I got a burst of energy going through me! Running now after Furo, we both got to the top. Wind gusts swirled around, as he grinned at me; I gave him a cold glare in return. "Why so hateful; girl...?" he chuckled, "I'm going to stop you, so don't try to distract me with questions." I shot back at him. He raised an eyebrow, "Is that so? Are you so sure of that?" he started, "Akataru Hinoshi; it's power will go over you and you'll destroy everything in you path soon enough, so you shouldn't be so... so sure that'll you defeat me.." he laughed. I glared harder at him; very irritated; then a sharp pain hit me in the chest, and Furo punched me; sending me flying. I hit a tree hard; and I heard a faint crack in my arm. "You idiot!" I screamed loudly at Furo; he just laughed. "I already told you! I'm not going to let that demon take me over!" I screamed at him, furiously. Getting up, I saw my right arm drip of blood all over. I ignored it, as Furo chuckled. I looked at him, "I could probably use the demon's power for the worst case, but I'm still myself!" I yelled, "Say what you want! You couldn't even kill me LAST time!" Furo laughed. That made me pissed off; so what? I instantly disappeared and reappeared behind Furo, kicking him in the back off the head. "Gah!" he yelled, spitting out blood and falling to the ground. I then saw Buddy come up to mountain and see Furo on the ground; he smiled. Slowly, stumbling, Furo got to his feet and glared at Buddy, then turned around and glared at me. "You ASS!! Kicking ME! think you can save the world!?" Furo outburst ed in anger. His eyes then turned red and he instantly disappeared. Buddy started going towards me.. everything went into slow motion, "Run! G- get off the cliff zone!!" I heard Buddy faintly yell; but it was too for me for run...
--No one's P.O.V.--
Furo appeared right infront of Isabel, and punched her with great force, making her fall off the snowy cliff. "No!" Buddy yelled. A hand caught the edge, and Isabel put her other hand on the edge, trying to climb back up. Furo smirked, as he stabbed his sharp nails into Isabel's hands. "Ow!" Isabel flinched, "Goodbye... girl!" Furo laughed, flinging her off. She fell down into the battle field.. Buddy barked/growled as Furo disappeared. The black wolf then ran down the mountain as fast as possible...
--Sam's P.O.V.-- (wow, haven't seen her in a while.)
~After school~
Man! It's been forever since Isabel and me got separated from the world drama thing! I hope she's okay... Everyone is worried about her! Especially her mom... "I just hope she doesn't come crying at my door later..." I sighed, thinking aloud. I fixed my backpack on my shoulder, and headed into my house, to throw my bag down, and jump on the couch to get some sleep....
--No one's P.O.V.--
Back down at the battle field; Brad kept kicking cougar ass (lol.) with the wolves and the wolf tribe. The whole army started to take lead...
--White Sharino's P.O.V.--
Snow, brushing against my fur, I started to smell the scent of flaming trees from afar. It was coming from the mountains! Dashing by trees and creatures, I jumped and climbed up the mountain to see a battle field of wolves and cougars. From looking a bit, I spotted Brad; fighting off cougars to heart content. I should hep him, I should... I thought, jumping into the battle field and coming up to the human. He spotted me and smiled while be both fought; "Hey Sharino! See you're well?" Brad chuckled. I smiled, "Yes, Indeed I am well." answering back while hitting a cougar. "Let's defeat them!"
--Isabel's P.O.V.--
Everything was black, as I felt wind and chills around me....
--Masquerade's P.O.V.--
We got out of the village long back, and we started heading towards this huge and TALL mountain! We got to the bottom, and stayed clear of the battle. "Um.. boss.. watch out!" I heard Shab yell, then... something/one fell on me. I flinched to see Isabel fall from above! She started to wake up, "Ugh..... what... happened?" she asked, slowly getting up. "You tell me!" I scoffed; looking at Isabel's hands, which were bleeding. Seconds later, the wound healed and Isabel looked at me. "We need to find Furo," was all she said, with a determined look.. "No! We're not prepared anymore! You're hurt! and Tired!" Black Shadow came running over. I nodded my head, as Isabel and Shab sighed. "We'll defeat the rest of this battle with the cougars, then go back to the village to heal. Then finish it all, alright?" Black Shadow planned. We all agreed, and seconds later, so did Isabel. Black Shadow, and Isabel both ran towards the battle... I looked at Shab, "Special move time?" "Yeah!!" Shab cheered. We were ready!
--No one's P.O.V.--
Furo gone, half the cougars fled, Scar no where to be found, and the battle continues one. Sharino and Brad kept fighting cougars in one place, then Black Shadow and Isabel in another. "Woo!" Isabel cheered as she killed one of the huge cats. Soon, almost all the cougars fled, or were killed, and almost all the wolves were dead. Before a couple cougars attacked Brad, Sharino, Buddy, and Isabel... "WHOOO!!!!!!" Masquerade and Sharino yelled as they both knocked all the cougars, making them go running. "Nice!" Isabel smiled, chuckling. "High five boss!" Shab smiled, raising a claw. They both high-fived each other and laughed. Isabel smiled, looking at Buddy, Brad, Sharino, and the other two. "Nice to see you're well, Sharino." Buddy remarked, looking at the white wolf. "Yes indeed, now let's go rest, shall we not?" He replied, nodding. All of them agreed, and headed back to the village, joking around on the way.....
What will happen next!!??!?? Who will win the FINAL battle!?!?!?!? Will the Demon take over Isabel?? Will people die1?!? Find out next on Part 17!! ^^
