Ignorance,Arrogance,Ungratefulness and Ego.

There are some things and people that astound me in this game and here are a few of them.
The first thing is how some people think that they are so much better than others, I often wonder if they act like that in real life.
The way some people speak to and treat others is quite frankly disgusting at times, a little politeness goes a long way and friendliness goes even further and has greater rewards.

The constant swearing and cussing from some players can be offensive too, don’t get me wrong, I am quite capable of swearing myself but I am also aware of the people around me when I do.
I would not say some of the things I see in game, not knowing how old others around me are.
I had a example of this only a few days ago in Solemn grounds when someone was cussing, I politely asked if they could stop because I did not appreciate such language in front of my girl friend , I was actually pleasantly surprised when the person in question apologized and refrained from any further language.

Then are the people that you do something for to help them and they can’t even manage a simple thank you.
To me this is complete disrespect for others and it breeds a community that will not help each other.

Now shall I move on to the promotions and events?
I have seen comments along the lines of “Huh 5k cp, is that all?”, referring to the recent Buy 1 Scroll of the God's Get 1 FREE + Raffle for 5000 CP!
I have seen comments about the GM’s,GS’s and CTD that are unwarranted and insulting because people don’t get what they want in the game yet or that there is not a patch every week with some amazing new feature (Yes I do think that the GM's and GS's could do a little more to help, it is'nt very often I see them in game helping us with hackers and bots).
But where CTD in concerned, give it a rest please, these people do the best they can and they provide you with a FREE game, yes you can argue that it is not completely free because you buy ap, no one forces you to buy it and you can play it without having to buy ap too (granted it is harder, but can be done).

And now to CTD.
Let me point something quite simple out about him.
He is NOT a store and he is NOT there to give you anything you ask for.
And to be honest some of the questions I see him asked about events, promo’s and the game in general, I know what my answer would be if I were him.
“READ THE DARN FORUM!”

Now what about the ego’s of some players? “WOW”.
Some people have such huge ego’s in this game that it is surprising they can fit their heads through a doorway.
Yes some of you are outstanding players and I commend you for that, but please don’t rub my nose in it and don’t look down on new players by teasing them when they ask a simple question.
Try helping them, it costs you nothing and earns you respect from others too.

Now another thing that makes me laugh is dueling, whenever I have a duel with someone and lose (which happens a lot lol) I usually reply with “nice one, or good job” and to be fair quite a few people I have dueled with are the same, but there are an awful lot of people who use the age old excuse “Lag”, maybe it’s just me, but to me that is a lame excuse, just admit you lost because he/she was better than you in the duel.

Hackers and Bots.
Well it’s an online game and it is going to happen, you will NEVER get rid of it and it will never stop.
These people are the lowest of the low and myself personally I don’t see the point, I want to be able to play a game and say “I did that”, if you hack or cheat as it should be called, you are achieving nothing yourself, you just want it done for you.

I know that the majority of players in this game are young, but some of us are a little older and a little wiser in life.
Myself I am 46 years old and have kids of my own and if any of my kids acted the way some do in here they would lose their PC and find it difficult sitting down for a day or two lol.

It does not take much for you to be polite and courteous in anything you do and you gain so much more respect and a friendlier response from others.
All I ask is that you think first and then maybe, just maybe we can build a more friendly cooperative online gaming community.

Yea I know I live in a pink fluffy dream world with comments like that, but hey, it’s worth a try is’nt it?
