Lesson 8 – Consecutive Turn Cornering 3 – High Speed

Lesson 8 is a continuation of lessons 3 & 4. In this lesson we will be practicing complex cornering at higher speeds.

The track in this lesson has a very nice s-turn which some players find hard to get around at speed. I see a lot of driver unnecessarily braking between the turns. If you can keep a consistent speed thru the first turn, you can accelerate faster out of the second turn. Canal ride also has turns which suddenly decrease in track width. These can be very tricky to get thru. Like previous lessons, try braking earlier than you think you should and then adjust each lap. Watch the lesson video for visual references and cornering lines, and then practice.
