At long last a GRB that was not marred by crashes during it (although the one 35 minutes before it kicked off probably frazzled some nerves) and actually run to 60 minutes dead. A most welcome change to what we've experienced the last month and a half.

And did we ever get some tight results. One thing was Merged Light having three guilds within 800 points and above 69,000 points, but Merged Fury - wow. FIVE guilds within 800+ points? Don't think we've seen that many guilds vying that closely for the top spot ever.

Also good to see some Merged server guilds now breaking their old OS records.

Phoenix saw the regular winners, of which ChaosTheory made it their 11th GRB in a row as #1, earning them a 9th spot on the all time list of longest GRB win streaks. Immortals set a new PX Light best with 54159. Well done, both!

Agreed. Well done Leo & Team! Someone has to point out the good things sometimes as well Half full glass of beer sounds better than a half empty glass of beer. Although.. do leave the beer till after you're done poking the servers <3

Only partially joking, actually. Unless there was a GRB fix in the patch we got on Tuesday, of course.

Ok, that was the sixth out of the last eight GRBs on Merged not running as it should.

So, while that prevents the Merged server from hitting the big scores, it is good to see the scores on PX improving. Today we saw all the guilds on the PX Light side top 6 score over 20,000 points for the first time, and Immortals setting yet another PX Light best. Also worth noting that for the first time in a long while, PX Fury saw 30 guilds rank.

Not a whole lot to say about the Merged scores as the wins were fairly comfortable, except that the fight to get into to the top 6 got close on the Light side. Five guilds spread across 600 or so points for fourth to eighth spot.

Two new PX Fury guilds making their top 6 debuts today: Interceptors and S.W.A.T. Congratulations, both.

I think I heard about that. You guys had an AoL player spawn into your GRB as well?

Guess we were lucky who only had a new member who was kicked by the crash and then given the guild application quarantine for leaving two guilds within 3 days...

Yep. She had to be readded twice to guild then when she entered GRB her points did not count and no score was showing up. So basically she wasnt in the guild even though she had guild name over her head

A full GRB again, and there's pretty much one thing to say about it: it was CLOSE! Well, at least if you don't count PX Fury where ChaosTheory extended their unbeaten run to 13 weeks without much opposition. Elsewhere, it was rather different.

OS Fury had roughly 1,000 points separating the top four, and only 98 points separating the top two, with AFK setting a new OS Fury best and achieving their first ever win. PX Light saw Immortals hang on by the skin of their teeth to win for the sixth straight week, but they had to set a new PX Light best in order to beat Exodus by a meager 140 points.

OS Light also saw four guilds within roughly 1,000 points fighting for the top spot, and it has been a long time since I've seen the lead change that much back and forth during a GRB on the Light side. At the halfway mark, it looked like DragonReign had seized the grip on the battle, but towards the very end, Celestial Legion overtook them to win by 254 points.

Another thing noting on OS Light was that Requiem became the fifth guild ever to break 69,000 points (after -Deicide-, DragonReign, Celestial Legion and sovereignty - no Fury guild has yet done that). Also, a number of top 6 guilds on both OS factions trounced their old records from the old servers today. Getting into the top 6 was murderous - it required almost 68,000 points on the Light side and slightly more than 66,000 on the Fury side. Congratulations to all who made it!

And from Phoenix Fury, we got the only top 6 debut guild of the week: Fatality - well done!

Might be worth noting that it actually required a little effort to rank in the top 30 on PX Light today (ie more than go in, whack a couple of mobs, then head back out), while after having sported a full rank of 30 guilds last week, PX Fury was down to 24 guilds again this week.
