HUNTERS OF SARANNE

1.) Overview:
Players will register their character with the Master Hunters of Saranne in Juno and Mondshine. Characters will receive a special weapon (bow) and telescope along with the event registry. Players will be instructed to seek out the Doslacots responsible for the recent creature based attack. Players must move their characters into position by first tracking the colorful mist that these creatures leave behind. Mist trails can only be seen through telescope. Character must move slowly to close the final distance between themselves and these creatures. Characters must reach specified distance without alerting the Doslacot. Surprised by a bow attack these creatures are more easily killed. Startled or struck with anything other than the magic bow specifically created to deal with these creatures and characters will suffer a rapid death.

3.) General Procedure:
Develop an NPC capable of delivering and receiving multiple sheets of information.
Create an event registry able to record the number of creatures killed and contain its own timer. Hunters’ registry must remain in inventory. Players will have a maximum of ten hours to track and kill as many of the Doslacot as possible. The Doslacot are the creatures responsible for the portals that allowed the Doggs of Saranne into our world. Doslacot are small creatures that feed on the harvest locations. Each of the three types of Doslacot will have unusual attacks based on their selective diets. Although small to hide their presence they will have extremely powerful magic attacks beyond any possible defense if not first struck with an arrow from the Master Hunters bow. Each of the Master Hunters will have two sets of three, level 4 Doggs of Saranne. A level 4 Dogg of Saranne is not equally related to the standard definition of a level 4 creature. The skills and attacks associated with a level 4 Dogg of Saranne are the challenging secret of another event.

The Master Hunters from the land of Saranne have tracked the Doslacot to our world and are seeking the assistance of the brave warriors of the lands of Iris. Doslacot are the creatures that are responsible for the portals that allowed the Doggs of Saranne to enter our world. These creatures are small but extremely dangerous. Their magic attacks will surely destroy any adventurer that has not received instruction from one of the Master Hunters of Saranne. These creatures are the keepers of the AXHXA’S STONES and have entered our world seeking to destroy all those that have them. Powerful as they may be, they are well aware of the magical bonuses that a full set of stones offers to the one able to collect them. Prepare yourself for a battle of stealth against another of the creatures from the land of Saranne.
5.) Specific Reasoning For Event:
All those involved in the medieval world enjoy the challenge of new creatures from far off lands. Because this is a special event, those that obtain the highest number of creature kills will obtain a special weapon with secret magical properties. Events such as this can add to the overall adventure of the game. A surprise attack from a world that we can not see and magical creatures that challenge our characters skills satisfies the curious and adventurous nature of the medieval warrior. These creatures must be hunted slowly. Any adventurer that moves too swiftly within range of one of the Doslacot and alerts them to their presence will most certainly be fed to the Doggs of Saranne.
