If you were able to log on before and now can't, try resetting the password and see if the issue goes away. If it's the first time, make sure you install USA version.
And yes, if you visited the bot site and downloaded its stuff, you're probably got your password stolen and reset by them. The bot site basically got you to download a trojan horse. Who knows, they might have a key logger in there to steal a lot more than LC password.
