Scams you should be vigilant of!

And Websites That Should Never be Visited!
Here are some scams you should avoid as they will lead to your account being compromised and somebody having control of your items and/or AP.

Phishing Websites
-http://wolfteamap.tk/

These websites ask players to enter in their Aeria account and password and in return, they will award the player with free AP. DO NOT ENTER IN YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION!

These websites are called Phishing websites and they attempt to acquire your sensitive information by masquerading as trustworthy entities. Never trust them. AP is only obtainable through an official Aeria product or transaction.

Scam Artist
These individuals will pretend that they will give you something in return of you giving them your account information.
Some common claims that we have run across:
-"I will give you free AP. All you need to do is give me your account information"
-"I want to buy your account from you for AP"
-"Let's trade accounts."
-"Go to website X and you will get free AP" (see Phishing Websites)
-"I have a brand new hack that lets you gift yourself anything in the game. Just download it from website X" (See Phishing Websites)

The fact of the matter is, if it is too good to be true, it most likely is.
Unfortunately, we cannot always fix the damage these scammers and phishing websites do.

If you do find your account compromised, please use http://www.aeriagames.com/contact in order to contact us about your situation.

This made me do face palm more than 9000 times. Now I barely have any skin left on my palm.

Anyhow, in other news, these are all obvious scams, because real scam artists are very rare. These are just poor liars.

As for anyone who needs a visual aid, here's an example of a scammer:

If you get a random message from someone you don't know concerning something like this, DO NOT reply. Simply get a screenshot of the offender and report them immediately.

Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it's probably a load of crap.
