Destruction S2 Tips n' Tricks

Woohoo DS2
Intro
I made this guide of Tips n' Tricks to help people get a better understanding of this great gameplay mode available in WolfTeam, and of course, how to play it well. Each section of the guide will have some maps and tips on how to effectively win as a team or solo from both Wolf and Human point of view along with a weapons section and a wolf tip guide to maximize one's score.

What is Destruction s2?
Destruction s2, sometimes shortened to DS2, is a game type that places a Humans Only team (Red) against a Wolves Only team (blue). Along with this is a typical game of destruction, with red team attempting to plant a bomb or annihilate blue team before time runs out, and Blue Team attempting to defuse a planted bomb before it explodes or annihilate Red Team. Keep in mind when playing on Blue, even if all Red players are dead the bomb still must be defused in time or the round will result in a loss. *Tip: To defuse a bomb, hold E. It takes about 6-7 seconds to fully defuse a bomb.

Anti-Wolf Warfare (Red Teams' Guns and Glory)
There is a very large array of weaponry in WolfTeam for a user to choose from and use but of course some weapons are better in certain situations. For Destruction s2 you will usually want high powered weaponry or at least weapons with very fast fire rates (such as the Z-36). Here's an example of an ideal Anti-Wolf Weapon.

*Tip: Keep in mind, the Power rating on a weapon (Top Colored Bar) will effect a wolf regardless of Wolf Damage Rating. The Wolf Damage Rating simply adds or subtracts damage from the weapon.

*Tip: Stay spread out. If a wolf gets into you're tight group, you can all be taken out by a zerker suicide, guardian rush, or a smart wolf barrage. Thanks to holywerewolf for this tip.

*Tip: Some ideal weapons for Red Team are (in my opinion):
AKEI-47 PMC (Assault Rifle)
AUZ A2 COVRA (Assault Rifle)
SCAL WT (Assault Rifle)
EM-14 WT (Assault Rifle)
AKEI-47 ST (Basic Assault Rifle)
EF2000 WT (Assault Rifle)
XEM-8 WT (Assault Rifle)
FANAS PT (Assault Rifle)
Z36C CS (Assault Rifle)
Z36 (Assault Rifle Wolfcoin) * Can be bought only in WolfCoin Shop
C-95 (Assault Rifle Wolfcoin) * Can be bought only in WolfCoin Shop
STOUT ST (Basic Sniper Rifle)
SUPAS WT (Shotgun)
EM-3 WT (Basic Shotgun)
EXM-26 WT (Automatic Shotgun)
EM72A5 LAW (Rocket Launcher)

The Furry Resistance (Wolves As A Pack)
There are up to eight types of wolves you can choose from in WolfTeam, each with it's own unique ability. However, you only start with four, and the others you must unlock by purchasing the Mutation s2 power-up from EX-item in the shop.

After purchasing this you now have access to all eight wolves, giving you an edge in combat. The wolves are as follows in order of the wolf selection boxes (hold shift to access your Mutation 2 wolves):

Basic Wolf: The starting wolf in all matches, this wolf has no unique ability, but is very easy to use.
HP: 200 (+99)
Speed: Normal
Damage: Normal
Ability: None

Power Wolf: An upgrade of the basic wolf.
HP: 250 (+99)
Speed: Normal
Damage: High
Ability: None

Guardian Wolf: A giant brute, tough to take down, if somewhat slow. Inadvisable to use in open maps.
HP: 850 (+99)
Speed: Slow
Damage: High
Ability: Block. Holding right click will bring up a wall in front of the guardian, cutting down damage from enemy fire immensely. Be aware though that while doing this, you move even slower.

Ghost Wolf: Great use in DS2 with it's camping ability. Can stick to walls. (Hold W and Left Mouse Button to stick to walls while wall running) Has somewhat low HP.
HP: 200 (+49)
Speed: Fast
Damage: Normal
Ability: Invisibility. Can turn completely invisible when you stand still. You can rotate and roar while invisible without breaking it. Getting shot or moving will break it however. Be aware that ghost wolves have a loud heartbeat that can be heart by players, giving off your general position.

Smart Wolf: Tiny ball of terror. Smart wolf is a fast and quick killer, and can stick to walls like the ghost wolf. Beware, he has low HP, and cannot roar.
HP: 160 (+99) thru (+299)
Speed: Fast
Damage: Low
Ability: Suction. Can steal 20 HP per hit, adding to your (+99) health, not your base HP. You can even hit corpses of fallen enemies and friends to add to your hp up to (+299), totalling at 459 HP!

Berserker Wolf: A unique and very buff wolf. The berserker doesn't work like other wolves. Instead of slashing, the berserker will give one high powered jab from a pair of blades attached to his arm. You must practice to aim with these things, and are best used on a flat surface, as you must jump to hit foes above you, and cannot hit ones below you.
HP: 260 (+124)
Speed: Normal
Damage: Very High
Ability: Suicide Explosion. Holding the right mouse button will charge up a flame that will shoot out 3 blasts similar to a large shotgun. Keep in mind that you can be killed while charging, you will die afterwards, and the blast is completely lateral. You cannot aim it to shoot up or down, only forward and to the side.

Ghost-2: Very similar to the ghost wolf, the Ghost-2 looks like an upgraded ghost, missing the jagged bones and stitches the ghost wolf has. It also still has that annoying heartbeat.
HP: 200 (+49)
Speed: Fast
Damage: Normal
Ability: Invisibility 2. This invisibility is slightly different from the ghost wolfs, for one, it cannot go completely invisible. It can only go into a shallow outline at the most. Second, even though you're an outline, you can be invisible and move! However, this can change. You become more visible as you near an enemy, becoming almost fully visible when you're next to one. This can be used to your advantage as a kind of radar. The nearer somebody is, the more visible you become.

Ice Wolf: A frozen over wolf, similar stats as the ghost wolves, but with a small twist. The ice wolf will upon hitting an enemy, freeze them in a block of ice, temporarily slowing movement and attack speed down (even Fire Rate on guns).
HP: 200 (+49)
Speed: Normal
Damage: Normal
Ability: Ice ball. When holding down Right click, a player can aim an ice ball like a grenade that freezes all targets within the explosion range and doing up to 40 damage near the center of the blast.

Psycho Wolf: Looks like a teenager, doesn't it? This wolf has similar stats to the ice wolf, and has a hunched over back. Along with this, it can also stick to walls like the smart and ghost wolves, and disappears temporarily with it's right click attack.
HP: 200 (+49)
Speed: Normal
Damage: Normal
Ability: Psycho ball. Hold right click to aim and shoot a ball that does minor damage to your foe and drags them in your direction. Perfect if you don't feel like walking to them. (Or pulling them off of cliffs...)

*Tip: Don't rush at the humans down a long corridor, you'll just be gunned down. Wait for them to come to you, then get the leap on them! If you have to rush, rush as a team. If anything the overwhelming number of wolves will scare the crap out of red team, and make them lose some of their aim.

*Tip: Roar often. Keep that extra HP up at all times when not in combat. That extra 99 can mean life or death in the next gunfight.

*Tip: Evasion is key. String together a combination of wall running and jumping to evade bullets as you close in on your foes.

*Tip: "Watch out for grenades!" - Radio message Guy.

Maps (The Playground)

There are various maps to play DS2 in, some geared better for Humans, and some for Wolves. But you can win any map on any team, if you're prepared. Here are some quick tips when messing around on these maps.

Base 3275

Human Tactics:
Base is a cramped map with some open rooms, but with many small corridors where wolves can easily kill you. You spawn in a small parking lot type area with to ways to go, a road to B1 or B2. On this map it's best to alternate, as wolves are going to concentrate on whichever bomb site you go to the most. Turrets on this stage are mostly useless, because wolves can come from many directions turrents cant swivel to see. The faster you can get into the open room in the middle (with the conveyor belt) the better. Try not to rush too much however, as this can get you killed. The recommended bomb site is B1 because of it's open area. Watch out for wolves hiding behind the glass (you can't shoot through it) and in the vent though!

Wolf Tactics:
This is a simple map for you. Try to stay out of the open areas and choke off the human's two routes from their spawn quickly and either outlast the timer or kill them as they come out. If some manage to rush through before you can though, try to defend B1, it's much harder to take back. B2 is in a small room wolves can easily move about, so stack on B1! Oh, and WATCH FOR THOSE GRENADES.

Two Temple

Human Tactics:
As soon as you spawn, you can go either two roads, the high or the low. Choose from either left or right, B1 and B2 respectively, and go through the tunnels, or walk above ground. Generally, msot wolves expect you to go B1, and it's probably the best way to go. Going to B2 adds a longer tunnels and breakable wood above you (breakable by powers and psychos) Get a small team underground, and the majority above. Be careful in the tunnels as wolves can jump around quick in here. Above ground, stay up on the walkway, and carefully move your way into B1 watching out for any wolves following behind you and ahead of you. Try to spread your team over the rooms so wolves cant hide behind the columns.

Wolf Tactics:
This is YOUR map. As soon as the timer goes off, rush left and right, blocking B1 by going left, and heading to the courtyard by going left. When going left, walk through a doorway and turn right, towards the box some humans will probably be standing on. It may also be a good idea to send one wolf in the tunnels to take care of any below ground. If one manages to plant in B2, don't worry, it's pretty hard for humans to defend it, so unless it's about 5 versus 1, just rush in and tear 'em to shreads.

War Plant

Human Tactics:
The pretty tall buildings here can be intimidating, I know, but hold it together! You have several choices starting out, going up a ladder onto a roof, left around the main building, right, or straight into it. Perhaps the best thing to do is go straight into it (provided you can beat the wolves there) or to the right. Beware, wolves might jump off the roof and kill you. Going onto the roof of the building yourself is very inadvisable, and you'll just become trapped. There will be wolves on the roof and in the vent waiting for you to come. I recommend planting at B2 simply because of the open area and good vantage points it provides.

Wolf Tactics:
You start out right on B2, the bomb site humans are most likely going to plant at. Get into positions to take the down quick and do NOT let them plant at B2. If you can, rush forward and try to stop humans from going onto the rampart. If you're too slow, it'll just be a quick death. It's also worth noting the roof is a good place to camp humans who are on the roof, and you can jump down to humans on the ground, raining death from above. Keep an eye on the vent and the ramparts and you should be good. Note: Guardian wolf and berserker wolf are really difficult to use on this map. Only use them if you're good with these wolves. If not, go for the Ghost-2. It's highly useful on this map with it's ability to stay invisible.

Train Factory

Human Tactics:
Train Factory is just that, a train factory. You start in this small room with two ways to go, left or right. In my opinion, either way is a good choice, as long as you're quick. When going left you empty out into a small row of train cars. It's best to head for the garbage win and jump on top of it. This open area should allow you to fend off wolves until you can plant at the nearby B2. Going right, leads you into a small area with a train car that you can camp on. As long as you guard the ladder that leads to the top, wolves will have a hard time getting to you. It's adviseable to go left out of the building and into the open area, where you can head right and plant at B1. B1 has a small rampart section near the bomb in which wolves can only come from one direction to get at you. It's open and easy to camp, so try to plant here.

Wolf Tactics:
The best thing to do is rush as fast as you can to camping sites. Both bomb sites can be hard to assault, so don't let them plant. If you head right, jump atop the trains and choke off the human's small corridor out their spawn. Heading left, camp behind the large door and inside the big B1 room. Watch out for the hail of grenades and try to catch them when they try to run past. If they do manage to plant, you may be hard pressed to get them back. Ghost wolf is really effective on this stage if you don't think you can stop them from planting.

Rose

Human Tactics:
In Rose, you spawn in a small room and must run down a walkway to get out of it. This will unfortunately take time, and give wolves plenty of opportunity to reach the bomb sites before you. The best thing to do is run as quickly as you can to the ladder by your spawn, and slide down it. Do not jump to the bottom. You will lose HP. Instead jump down on the ladder. After you're on the ground. Head left along the walkway (don't fall off the edge!) and up the ladder at the far end and camp. Yup, be a noobsauce and camp. After you kill a substantial amount of wolves, head up the ramp and across the conveyor belt to B1. Camping on that boat is pretty much a sure fire way of winning on this map. Just watch out when you plant the bomb. You're very vulnerable up there while you're planting.

Wolf Tactics:
Alright, you spawn right where you want to be. The very first thing you want to do is spread out. Go around or jump over that wooden wall in front of you and head either left down the ramp to B2, or across the conveyor belt. If you go downstairs, camp B2 and the tunnel beside it, blocking the humans from planting at B1 from that direction AND B2. If you go across the conveyor belt camp that room and the ladder by the fuel tank. Alternatively, you can jump out that door to the right on the conveyor belt and head through that tunnel towards the humans' spawn and hit them as they walk out. Remember, DO NOT let them plant at B1 or you have a 95% chance of losing, even if you're the "m0$7 PR0 \/\/01F !n t3h \/\/01F734Mz." As for wolf choices, I recommend Berzerker, Ghost-1, and Power. Only use smart if you're good with it, and please don't use psycho unless you're absolutely awesome with it. You'll die otherwise.

Scent
Human Tactics:
Haha, Japan. Awesome thing about this map, you spawn right on a little boardwalk, surrounded by water. Don't jump in, you can't swim. Also, run off of it as quickly as possible, because there are idiots who will grenade you off the edge for fun. Alright, the best plan (usually) is to go right. But not down the walkway. And whatever you do don't break that wood. Instead take the above route. Once you go down that far ramp, (the one without wood at the end) you'll reach a tunnel. Storm that tunnel and go up the ladder to the bomb site. Plant it on the tree, and camp. There is plenty of open space to defend yourself and kill wolves. Just watch out for suicidal Berzies. Alternatively, if you go left, very cautiously advance, and keep to the left. Watch out for suicidal berzerkers. From the little building, go through the gateway and to the bomb site with the tree (can't remeber if it's B1 or B2).

Wolf Tactics:
Split the team into 3 parts. The majority head right, through the gateway to meet the humans. If you're a noob zerker, this is a good opporunity to take out 2-5 Red's with a well placed suicide. Other than that, camp around the house, and WATCH OUT FOR GRENADES. They'll lob tons at you. The other part of the team, at the spawn head right down that hole, and head left after you exit the tunnel. From the bomb site down there you have to direction, right or left. Split up and man both areas. If you go left from that underground bomb site keep watch on the ladder, you do not want humans do go up the thing. Unfortunately, this requires team work. If your whole team dies, and you're alone, you can't man all these positions alone. The best thing you can do is camp the tea house / dojo by the tree bombsite and try to prevent them from planting and hitting them as they crawl up the ladder. If you're lucky (or pro), you'll kill them all and win. Unless they plant in the underground bomb site. Then just rush that place (it's not very open) and take them out. My wolf recommendations are berzerker, power, smart, and ice wolf. I do not recommend guardian, because humans can manuvour easily on this map, and it's hard to lug around ol' fatty. But if you can do it, go ahead.

*Maps above to be done soon.

I have a tip maybe to add to list? Humans shouldn't stay in close group because then one wolf could take the whole group out fast
