The Christmas patch isn't removed this week. It will be removed either next week or the week after.

This patch fixes the Christmas hats so they drop from the Christmas presents.

You should consider leaving some sort of permanent random area spawn boss in the game. They help stimulate pvp and give useful, free items to those that might not afford them otherwise. Sticking the santa troll in 20-30 permanently would be fine, since it is a winter themed map regardless. Put the teddy bears in 1-15 because it is for the 'baby' toons, and put the golden oxes in 1-60 for the lv52 epic quest items.

I'm trying to work with the devs to get some new special monsters with out-of-the-ordinary drops created for GM events. I suppose those monsters could be used for what you suggest as well.

I don't believe the holiday monsters would work for such a thing if it were a permanent basis. I'd have to double check with SonoV.
