how do you pm and world chat in the game?

rofl sorry for the noob question xD

lol world chat is such a annoying function in the game i miss like what everyone is saying around me cuz like 10 people deciede to talk right after the person i was talking to was replying to me and the when i try to scroll up to read what they saided more people talk in world then it makes me scroll all the way down again then i pretty much miss what was said

Now the only trick is to get people to use Trade chat, Find Party chat etc. instead of spamming world chat...

The only real thing I need to know is HOW to talk to people in general chat. Like Yell or World. When I first started GF I pressed the Enter button and could talk - for all of two minutes. Then when I tried again and again and again, it wouldn't work. And I REALLY needed to ask for help with the game, because I'm confused. So can anyone help me out with this? I'd really appreciate this.

You mean you can't type anything at all? Ctrl-S gives you the text box to type stuff into.

To use world chat, press and hold control w then type whatever message you want

To return a whisper, or keep whispering the last person you whispered, control r.

To whisper someone for the first time, /t username

Hi everyone im facing this problem that whenever i wan to chat to anyone it does not appear.. it only happens to this very character of mine in this acc as for others is fine.. does anyone know how to fix it?
