How do you actually get those rewards?I know that I've atleast gotten the 500 one, maybe the 1000. Is there an event that you have to participate in?

You get them as a gift. Look for the button in the Lobby, right next to Messenger, Item Shop and those things.

take a SS showing your amount of kills and send it to contact us and explain that you didnt recieve a gift

took me me longer than 2500 kils tho
i got that reward at 2567...
