I am getting the Unregistered ID message from the launcher (this seems to be a pretty common problem). I have cleared my browsing history, closed all applications/IE windows, restarted my computer, requested a password change, and done a voodoo dance in the rain. None of this has worked. Any ideas or advice?

When you did that voodoo dance did you face south while shaking your booty and cry, "Lemme Play oh Wolf God or yore!!!"? I think that's your problem.
First and foremost, there are at least two different versions of WolfTeam out there. One of them is hosted by Softnyx themselves and the other by Aeria Games. When you launch the game, the splash screen should show enough information to guarantee you have the Aeria Games version. If not, then that's your issue and you need to download the correct version from here:
http://wolfteam.aeriagames.com/download. I suggest the Aeria Games mirror, but they all should work.
Otherwise, this is strange because usually all it takes is a log out and back in which is inherent in your list of steps you took. I'm going to ask someone with more power than I to look into this, but in the meantime, would you try something for me? Create an entirely new account (you'll need a second email address). Make the account name something short and simple. Once the account is created and verified, log into the site and then back out and try it in the game.
If neither of these lengthy paragraphs helps (not counting my first obviously :p) then please respond here and we'll look further into the issue.
