My new sig

I know it's not really TS2 related...but..
I know we have some great graphic talent here on the forums so I was hoping to get some constructive crits, and maybe suggestions to improve my current signiature. I strayed away from my normal use of fractals, still used them but more for lighting and color effects instead of the more obvious uses I had previously.
[Edit]Totally forgot, since I have other signatures posted, this is the one I'm looking for criticism on:

I figure it never hurts to have some examples of what I've done in the past, just to show where I'm at in terms of making signatures.

o.O But yeah...basically I believe I've overdone the fractals and such previously. o.O

Well

No offence to ppl who ARE good with TS2 chars, but i always rather use anime charectars, or realistic paintings of them. They always turn out much better for me. But you are pretty good =).

woops that didnt have anything to do with your current siggy (Embarressed). Ok for that signature u can stop using so many **** Fractals >.<. Fins a picture of a river or water, ok now put that at the BG. Get your Render. Add a new layer. Paste it all around the Canvas. Nowgo to the Paster render layer and hit Guassian Blur (i only know Gimp) and set it at about 50 =). Set that on something that colors the river. Now add some C4Ds and stocks on dodge/screen. Glad to help =0

On the Edward Elric one, you put lighting facing the opposite way.

Soft Brush, 200 px on his left side of his head.

Also, try to blend the render in more.

Decent coloring, needs work on text.

IMO, I dislike your signature size because it's so long.
Not saying long signatures are bad, but since its so empty, you just have useless places that really are not needed.
So what I would do is, kill the length a little, or have it so the long length is actually worth having ( stuff is actually in it)
Background.. You need to work on it, instead of using c4d's use brushes..
You can
brush the bg
smudge the render out to make the bg
use the filters on the render to make the bg
use stocks.

Render also looks blurry.
