Off topic maybe

--Is it bad for a mod to go off topic?
So now that this service exists and it looks like AP items are part of the service, could we consider asking for our IM records to be made available to all servers? The spots are already taken by each server anyway....couldn't this stuff just be made available on all servers?

It would mean that buying from the item mall or getting from the loot wheel I wouldn't need to select a server. It would also mean if I bought a package on Hatz, it would be available to me on Katar.

Just seems like a logical evolution of this concept.

I still think its on topic since you're talking about the service.

Only problem with that is, what about when they put up limited quantity items. Often times there are servers that sell out right away and some that don't, it would suck for the AU server.

I wish OSU I wish...

Unfortunately this is a service and not a new feature. There has been no change in coding that has made it possible and we don't have a tool, it's all done manually as a service to help players out.

I agree that this should be a feature and IM should be available to all servers. I will speak with the devs on this topic and hopefully get some changes Smile.

I don't think OSU is saying to make the IM shop itself available to all servers just the purchased item window.

Same difference, your ap is available on all servers so if K runs out of limited quantity packages, just log on to S server and buy limited quantity stuff you'll use on K after it goes into your purchased item window.

I am not saying it's a bad idea. I'm just saying that's the only problem I can see with it. If you find a way to work around that, such as making limited quantity packages server specific or making them go into your current characters inventory immediately, then great make this feature possible.

ks1lent, would it be possible to transfer a non-tradeable accessory from one character to another via this service? The two characters are on the same server.

Well they have placed a bunch of my BOGO items on the wrong servers and I can't get those even though they are taking up slots in my records folder. I have e-mailed asking about it but never even got a reply, so I started finding ppl to gift the stuff to. If the stuff showed up no matter which server I logged onto, then this would solve a big problem for me. I is really bothering to think of that package with the 10 chaos smelts sitting on Sarrisa with 1 lvl 5 and 1 lvl 7 toon Evil or Very Mad

If it's that big package with smelts and a bunch of other stuff that's an old tiered spender event. If you took part, you got the stuff on all 5 servers. I strongly doubt that you'll be able to get them to move it. You could try like this guy did: http://forums.aeriagames.com/viewtopic.php?highlight=package+trade&t=322797

is the transfer service still on? cause i would like to transfer something, is there a certain date? ive been waiting a few days for a reply from a Gm, and i have 2 skill books on katar i want to trade to auzura. any reply Pls lol

As stated in the original thread the pricing is as it is for a reason. Our GM's are a limited resource and even at this price it is only worth it if we have multiple user utilizing the service. This service has been requested already by a number of players for roughly the same cost, we are giving these players the opportunity to do something that is otherwise impossible.

I wouldn't think that a stack of 10 power potions would be worth it but if you have a full set of 1xx b6 gear finding someone able to make a fair trade to move you to another server would be difficult.

As with everything here at Aeria LC we are offering a service, if you don't want to use it... don't Smile the choice is up to you  


But jeeze, i mean really? prices are bad enough with game gold, why does everything need to fall on the GM's already full shoulders? I already feel belittled by in game item prices, now Ap is gettin too expensive too. I'll not be using this option to solve my prob with the prices on my server. (besides, I hear its bad on every server already) Maybe if some items had a price cap, I would consider spending that amount to trans to another server. Sad

toon in c can transfer to auz
