How "old" is "old school"? Is Tetris old school enough? That would be mine. Or Super Mario (the one for the old, old original, hunky GameBoy).

PFF

This is difficult. Many old games impressive. Mario & Tetris on gameboy, street fighters NES, Megadrive to Sonic, The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time for N64 ... It is very difficult to choose at least for me.

Puppies !

Land Stalker or Shining Force were good and so was Jungle Strike. All were available on the Mega Drive (16 bit) and had good graphics and in depth game play.

A friend of mine once took Galga (Galaxia ?) all the way to the end on one of the old coffee table type machines. The final boss was huge but the funny part was that when it died the game crashed, I guess the developers never really thought too much about anyone finishing their game.

nice 2 and a half year necro. and what does this have to do with your favorite old game?

did you tried sending him a message? you should post in your game's forum instead of posting in some random old thread.

My favorite old school/retro game was Conan in 1984-1985, when I was still a kid.
The computer monitor screen was in black and green color (monochromatic), using Apple II operating system, the computer my dad had at that time.

I was so addicted to that game, so I played it a couple hours a day until I completed the game n.n;;

I guess I've been a gamer since I was 2 years old xDDD
