I first did choose rogue. Mostly because I was used to games like Neverwinter Nights or Elder Scrolls IV, where you could sneak around, make a plan and attack from the darkness being able to take down about anything with the right plan, plus the dual daggers are very cool. I just found that this was not the case and most skills were of best use for PvP.
I tested sorcerer (the spirits did look nice to me, but I got the impression of controlling a brittle killing machine).
I finally tested Knight, I like the early levels armors (Crusader, Cool Roman Army alike, etc...) and they are a very solid class (resistant, and still strong), I go with knight, battle hardened paladin for me
