What do you guys think is better? Anime Subbed or Dubbed?

Subbed, sometimes in the dubbed version the voice acting is less-than-par with the original. Plus some dialogue is lost in translation!

Sometimes they're okay, and sometimes they're atrocious.
Examples: YuGiOh and One Piece

i like them both depending on the company that does the dubbing. now days the quality of voice acting is pretty high because of how mainstream anime is becoming in America. As far as when one is better than another. I watch dubbed anime on my ipod because the subs are too small to read comfortably and still watch the show. I watch subbed first, then dubbed if i have the DVDs and they have both tracks.

I only watch anime with the original soundtrack. The voice acting in dubs are usually just really bad, like the actors are just reading the dialoge from the paper.
The Japanese voice actors make it an art, even though understand much japanese i prefer it, because they usually express the emotions of the characters much better.
Also the translations are sometimes horrible (not that the subtitles can't be that too)

I watch my anime subbed. I've had bad experiences with dubbed anime on a whole.
M60 explained it quite well.

I don't know about anyone else, but uh... I like both.

I'd appreciate dubs more if more of them stayed true to the source material.

Like the Lupin TV dub... I actually like most of the actors involved, but all of the added profanity and weird pop culture references were unnecessary.

I prefer subs most of the time, but I don't shun dubs completely. However, it does make me kinda mad because dubs do tend to "change things" so its "more understandable" to an American audience. Azumanga daioh is a good example of this because in the dub they cut out a lot of the Japanese culture references.
