Oh, look. Phishing spam that's been here 9 hours, from a still-unbound scam account -- one which is so obvious (location: San Antonio, India, lololol).

Is there anyone on Staff paying any attention?

Re: Aeria Games / Gamigo

Info about the merge
GM_Broom wrote:
Dear players,

We'd like to share some info with you today about a change in our company structure. This change does not affect you directly, but for us at Aeria Games, it represents another step towards the future.

Aeria Games and gamigo have announced today that they have entered into a strategic partnership, which has resulted in a merger of both companies.

For most of you, this might come as surprising or perhaps even worrying news, but we'd like to explain why this isn't the case.

First and foremost, it's important to note that Aeria Games and gamigo still exist as individual companies, and the continued publishing of their games has been ensured.

The biggest change comes in the form of potential and resources. What sort of possibilities does this partnership create? How much knowledge of the gaming industry, of game development, and of all things game-related do we now have access to? Most importantly, we look forward to bringing our strengthened manpower, knowledge, and potential into play for you, our players, and for the games you love.

We look forward to what the future holds and hope you'll continue this journey with us as we work to bring you the best in F2P games!

Sincerely,

Your Aeria Games Team

Quite honestly, gamigo is involved in few really shady projects, few of which are borderline scam.
For example, check this thread at their forum:
http://fiesta.gamigo.com/us/forum/board14-community-forum/board20-general-discussion/55450-designer-packs/

In a nutshell, they sold to players ability to design and wear their own unique design suits. Nice idea, but terribly implemented.
For example, deadline was set to Dec 2015, its autumn of 2016 and they still didnt deliever packs. They also didnt offer a real cash refund, only in "in game store currency", which is not acceptable for many players.
Its nothing but a SCAM at this point. And they REFUSE to do anything about it, just keep feeding us empty promises.
Oh and they surely clear/ban forumers who keeps reminding/posting about this, cause they clearly dont want "negative feedback to spead", so much for freedom of speech.

I have been playing one of their games, Fiesta Online, since 2008 (Outspark owned game back then), and I can say that I have seen lot of similar cases, even have made a site with some of them.

Just check all that, read their own forum, and you will get an idea of what kind of ghetto these guys are.

And now , 1year past the deadline, they canceled Designer Pack and refunded only game cash, but not real money invested (each pack was 400$).

Scamigo. Just stop investing in them guys, its joke, not a company.
