Security Awareness - Don't visit Hacking Sites!

Or simply don't use hacks at all..read more.

As Gamers, we see people abusing the game with the use of illegal programs to have an advantage over those who play the game in a very legit way. This is happening a lot on every single game we play online either on computers or through our gaming console at home regardless where and how the game is hosted or developed.

Unfortunately, those who are actually using hacks are typically kids whom first don't accept the challenges of the game and decide to become a looser by the use of hacks and secondly they have no clue what problem or consequences they are getting into by the use of these hacks. In their mind, they think by just using a hack, they are the Lion King of the game...instead, they are just putting their own selves' identities at risk as well as those who share their computers at home. Downloading hacks or simply visiting hacking sites may sound appealing to them, but they have no idea the horrendous consequences they may face later on. When visiting hacking sites or simply downloading files that require to be injected into an existing program residing on your computer, there is a huge potential that these are infested with malware. The malware will get into the computer without ever noticing it at all. Even updated Anti-Virus software will not detect some of these sophisticated malware that come in the form of Trojans, backdoors, Keyloggers, rootkits, etc. which sooner or later will give full control of your computers (The Key to the Kingdom) to the owner of the malware (or developers of the hacks)...You later start seeing things to start acting weird on your computer such as experiencing slowness or laggy, taking long time to execute a program or command etc. and you then realize that you have no clue how that is happening or how it originated.

So hope many of you take this as an awareness message. Be careful what you do...if you are one of these people who ignore these kind of warnings and like to explore hacks, you are at risk no just for losing your simple Aeria Account (which you don't even own), but you are risking other accounts of yours (e-mail, facebook, skype, banks, or anything you have registered online that requires a login/password), but most importantly, you risking your own personal identity.

We are currently living in a world that is mostly controlled virtually where everything we do now is via the internet. You have been warned.

I'm totally with Ghost on this. Rootkits especially often get installed without the user even being aware. Some of those can be the WORST kind of problem to remove from a PC even with current virus detection/ malware software, you are NOT immune to a rootkit being installed. These programs literally get right into the very core of your system and can be extremely time consuming, destructive to programs. Some are so difficult to completely remove that you need to hire a PC specialist to get it all nuked off your comp. :/

Great message. Unfortunately, I doubt 12 year olds can comprehend this critical issue.

most "hackers" are over 21

u have to but 99.9% of hacks most kids wont

most hackers use hacks just as and extension of their own skill and will never be detected unless u look at the sorce code

aeria dun giv a Free Knights about its players iff they did they wuld have made a br server in ALL of there games by now cuz 2/3'rd of the players in the games on aeria are br and they all play on the na server so on a na server living in usa i usualy am the only one with under 100 ping. no more of my money till u fix br problem atleast this goes for all games on aeria ....
