Suggestion: Alert System + Escort Drops

No one looks in suggestions
I have 2 related suggestions here, and I'd like some feedback.

1. Alert System
A system alert can pop up when the NPC you're escorting is under attack. There are 2 options with this: only those on the quest or within a certain proximity of the escort get the alert, OR the alert goes to every member of the faction in the area.

In Viledon and Nemesis, there could also be an alert when an owned Artifact is under attack. Most of the time we want it to switch ownership, but some people like defending for PvP too.

In Caergate, the alert system could be used when the Chest inside the base is under attack.

And for that final touch, an alert when the escort NPC, Artifact, or Chest is destroyed.

2. Escort Drops
Escort NPCs in Nemesis already do this, so why not have the ones in Caergate and Viledon also drop useful items? The opposing faction's escort NPCs, I mean. When you destroy them for your quests. Except there aren't such quests in Caergate, huh? But they could still drop useful items.

In addition, Artifact guards should drop something if and when you kill them. I once helped to kill a Nexus Warden, and got absolutely nothing. Not even gold or EXP.

I thought the point of escorting NPCs was to like, escort them. Be aware of their safety and such.

Artifact/Nexus guards can give RP I just do not know how to make them do it.

Mount, I was referring to the other faction's escort NPCs. I guess it wasn't obvious. I'll fix it.

now imagine if this will be implemented.

My Screen will be.

You have put Mountayn into the wanted List.
Poopsickles killed the wanted character Mountayn.
You have put MaskRyderBlack on wanted List.
Alert: Artifact of Fury is being Attack.
Alert: Escort is being attack.
Alert: Consolidating escort members.
Alert: Asmo Created
Alert: Helios/Behemoth Created.

spamming of wanted posters are already annoying to see.
im not saying this will happen all at the same time, but will mostly happen.

what can i see on my screen? just a bunch of message popping, especially in pvp
It's not a prob for me but imagine how annoying it will be.

There's an alternative though, Just put it in the system message not on the screen.

Artifact/Nexus guards can give RP I just do not know how to make them do it.
The first one to aggro them gets RP (afaik). Similar to Warden and Ranger.

I'd say Shirley/Hera shouldn't drop anything. There isn't even a quest to destroy it. Guess why? It's a map for new players. They are introduced to escorting there. Having geared players destroy it (remember, it only has 70k HP) would ruin that.
In Viledon, they're introduced to PvP fights around escorts and destroying the other escort. Having them drop stuff would make more sense. Obviously way worse than in Nemesis (1G, no or very few pet drinks, etc).

I don't agree with all alert suggestions. Noticing that your stuff is under attack (and alarming others if needed) should be done by players themselves.
However, it would be okay for events that everyone can see already anyway, like nexus destruction (you can see it on the map) or destruction of escorts (quest will fail).

Hm, but once an escort NPC is destroyed, it's already too late and the quest has failed. Actually, I guess one of the more crucial things to know is when the NPC is nearing the end point. This isn't an issue in Nemesis, I think, since they consolidate so often and everything's in-sight. If you're on the quest you're unlikely to leave your SI out of visual range, and the RT stays where it is once everyone reaches the middle.

But in Viledon, the CT's approaching alert comes too early, and the Hauler doesn't have one at all -- unless you do as I was known to do, and say 'ct on final approach' and 'hauler past ramps,' but then you always need someone with eyes-on. Because people get busy PvPing and completing the Ranger and Warden quests. And it's annoying if you're even a little bit out of range and fail the quest. Then you have to wait an hour (two, if wbs are going to be up).

Regarding the Artifact alerts, when the coloured ownership box vanishes it's already too late and the tower's obviously down. That also means it's too late to get the buff, until your faction retakes the Artifact. I don't know about the others with undergeared Arkana, but I would like to know if the enemy is around before I go to an Artifact to get the buff, and get mercilessly hunted down and killed. If I knew an Artifact was under attack, I wouldn't go there unless someone from the faction said 'lets go defend it!' Which sometimes happens, although not often. I think most people are interested in letting ownership change so they can do the quest. Do RG still rarely take the Nexus in Viledon?

I get tired of seeing that too.

If someone told me only the person who posts the bounty, and the target of the bounty, were supposed to see that Alert I would believe them. Maybe also anyone else on the same faction as the poster in the area, but not everyone in the game. Certainly not other players on the same faction as the bounty target! But... in that case the dev team is being lazy about cleaning this up. I cannot say I'm surprised, unfortunately.
