what will this mean to international players? more events that are only focused around the us time table? i mean last i checked it was an english server not an american. Also it is already stacked against us bigger discounts if your paying with USD no matter what the dollar is at.

Will we see more of the great aeria games not just the inbrowser games supporting mac computers? More and more are using apple and games dont seem to care.

Really ? Aeria Games is one of the largest free to play companies ?

Correction: Aeria Games is the largest buy to play company !

The best example for that is Alliance Valiant of Arms , All weapons is timed and costs 50k . removing everything but it can be gotten with AP . GJ AERIA!
I bought about 100 k AP to play. Yeah , this is coming from me from AP buyer.

So this new company will take all the pc games and turn them into mobile games so we can lag on multiple devices at the same time?
Stating that we will "see little change." may not be a good thing. I'd certainly like to see lots of things change. Hmm.. maybe we will start seeing all our beloved games turned into facebook apps?
*sigh*
I think I'm going to have to find a new mmo to play.

Nothing is going to be turned into mobile games nor facebook apps.
First of all, we are talking about publishers here, not developers.
I am sure that "slight changes" means that players won't experience any major changes of their games service and will still operate as they used to.

As for the mobile game development part you missunderstood. Aeria Games EU has been sold (or the transaction is currently going on) to ProSiebenSat1. The US Office will focus on mobile game development (huge market, good decision), while PC Games will probably be moved to the EU Office to be absorbed by ProSiebenSat1.

Nothing official here, this is just how I see or understand the situation.

There are several things in that post that are CLEARLY wrong... so, it doesnt seem like a good source.

There are many basic facts that are just wrong (and clearly so)

Paragraph 1:
SevenGames is not focussing on mobile.

Paragraph2:
Aeria Games is not a public company. There was no IPO.
The announcement was quite public, with press releases from both sides.

I wont even go into the speculation... which is his opinion, so not right/wrong. However, as you can clearly see, the basic facts that he started with are way off.

What would be a much more appropriate source of information is the actual press release.... which is linked in the first post.
