same with duelist. crit till 100% then def till 60 or 70% depends on you then go hp.

I thought there is a cap for crit? and also is it good to go for eva rather than def?

it's never a good idea to go for eva for pve purposes.

eva is a pvp stat.

Tell that to my evade sorc. Comparing the 2 sorcerers I've made, my evade sorcerer can actually tank. My defense sorcerer is paper.

Due to the debuff cleanse on evade, natural health, good damage reduction on higher levels, and defense going up with armor, I think an evade build would be perfectly viable. Of course, the best armor for this is going to likely be the crit/evade armor at level 60.

It ends up being that if you get hit (by a red carpet/circle o anything), most if not all of your HP goes poof as someone who invests in eva. While I have no problem against people playing evasion, it just seems kind of useless when the evasion person keeps kissing the ground. That being said, it's easier to avoid those red carpets/circles if you're a ranged class vs. a melee one.
