[Guide] Duelist/Brawler: The Dungeon Cleaner (incomplete)

More will be added/edited later, feel free to ask questions and/or comment

This guide will focus purely on how to optimize a pve duelist/brawler, duelist/brawler combinations can solo end game dungeons the fastest in the tw version (lure mobs boss to boss and take them out with aoe skills that restore your hp by 6% and 16% of the damage with every attack)

Attack rotations vs mobs

Rotation used after spamming blitz and whirling dance to lure mobs

Mob rotation:

Dancing balisong > sparks and flames > deadly wink > swift strike > electrocution > snowflower/slash cut (repeat from the beginning)

(Dancing balisong should be used regardless if your health is extremely low)

Attack rotations vs bosses & single targets

Set 1 rotation:

Blitz > cross slash > null strike > cross slash > slash cut > cross slash > snowflower (cross slash, null strike, cross slash, slash cut, cross slash, and snowflower repeating, a lotus strike can be inserted once whenever during the loop if you have the charges stored up)

Repeat from the beginning if the boss can be stunned again

Low health rotation:

Dancing balisong > cross slash > null strike > cross slash > slash cut > cross slash > snowflower (cross slash, null strike, cross slash, slash cut, cross slash, and snowflower repeating)

Used at low health, cut into dancing balisong whenever

Stat allocation & checkpoints

These stats should be reached without buffs or having an eidolon with you

Offense points:

Points should be put into speed until it reaches 30% (speed checkpoint) speed shouldn't go under at 29.99% or over at 30.50% for effective dot ticks and rotation, afterwards points should be put into crit until it reaches 35% (crit checkpoint), and the rest into damage

TL;DR - Speed until 30%, then crit until 35%, the rest into damage

Defense points:

Points should be put into defense until it reaches at least 60% (defense checkpoint), afterwards points should be put into evasion until it reaches 90% (evasion checkpoint, the other 5% evasion can be reached with eidolon & buff), and the rest into hp, you should be able to reach 60% defense with gear alone eventually and have your points go only into evasion and hp at end game

TL;DR - Defense until 60%, then evasion until 90%, the rest into hp

Envoy's path

Your priority passives in the envoy's path should be:

Bat Fang (Heals 3% of damage dealt) - All duelists need this, no matter their build

Duelist Studies (+ Crit damage of dual blades) - Very useful for all of your duelist skills and auto attack

Frenzy (Attacks have a 25% chance to do additional dot) - Not sure if this passive is working properly yet, but it helps increase dps vs bosses

Fleet Footed (Movement speed +5%) - Movement speed needed to dodge boss attacks and lure mobs

Ultimate Skills

Common: Cracking Slash (Fortifies slash cut, deals dot) - Useful for single target damage against bosses

Offensive: Callousness (Crit rate +3%, Crit damage +4%) - Increases overall dps

Advanced: Null Strike (Fortifies shadow strike, dot +20% damage) - Increases damage against bosses

Defensive: Extreme Speed (Evasion +3%, Movement speed +5%) - Movement speed needed to dodge boss attacks and lure mobs

Tactical: Break Defense (Every attack has a 25% chance to decrease the target's defense by 10% for 8 seconds) - Increases overall dps

Special:

If your defense isn't at 60% yet:

The Best Defense (1% of damage added to defense) - Increases your survivability, reaching 60% defense should take precedence

If your defense is at 60%, but your evasion isn't at 90% yet:

Capoeira (1% of damage added to evasion) - Further increases your survivability, 90% evasion because the other 5% can be reached via buffs

If both your defense and evasion are at 60/90 % respectively:

Deep Blue (Damage +2%, Malice -5%) - Increases your dps and helps prevent bosses from targeting you because of bad guardians

Awesome, I'm a scrub kirito with no subclass as well! Getting ready for the brawler subclass, hopefully it will just pop up in the class selection menu!

Generally speaking, how do you suggest we use snowflower? 75% crit damage to the next attack that is a critical, would it apply to every hit of an attack that hits multiple times such as deadly wink?

Once a Crit hits, the effect is over.

Snowflower > Deadly Wink = ONE animation of Deadly wink gets that Crit dmg while the others get your normal defaulted crit dmg.

Nudist Beach or Die.
