Hello all. This is a video i captured with Fraps and then i edited it and compressed it with Nero Visio (Its a stantart Program in Nero suit).

If you have a low frame rate in game fraps will get it even worse. So becarefull when you use it.

u can also make videos with Xfire I had Fraps but i could make videos only 30sec large

If u use window's movie maker u can pick how big the file will be once it's converted but if u make it 1 gb could be poor but u can defo make it that size.

Another note on Windows Movie Maker, you can download Windows Media Encoder, and it has a Utility, profile Editor which will allow you to add your own Compression formats. I haven't tested it. When I get the time I'll play around with it and let you know.

compressing can be done with any movie editting software too, just use the fraps version and render as .xxx file (whichever you like). no need to download or buy any special software - easy as that

The application I use for compression varies depending on it's use. Sometimes I use Windows Movie Maker, sometimes I use VirtualDub, and sometimes I use Flash Media Encoder. There are a million apps that you can use for compression. The main issue of concern is going to be your compression/decompression codecs.
