Rating

a 2
I gave Aeria a 2 for Soldier Front. I've had plenty of trouble playing since the switch and I know it's not my computer. Lags here, frozen screens there, not very enjoyable. Correct me if i'm wrong but i feel as though there is a lack of technical awareness from the GM's since the switch from ijji to aeria.

of course 1

why 1... u every time ask for feed back..ok we vote 1... but do u ever read any threads to make it 2/3/4/5???
i must say clearly... with that gm's u can do NOTHING...
no asking no helping no waiting...NOTHING
u have banned everyone on 12sky2
u did not stop giving away cp charms...u could do it quickly, but u saw that it can make u earn more ap...because in game cash went too much with hack..everyone started to buy everything in game and ap buyers started to buy more ap to get all money ig.
i really login here oftenly but dont see gm's in shoutbox anymore..
should we play 12sky2 or are wasting our time and money?
no one says NOTHING
and u banned all real hackers of cp that dont share the hack, so they shared it...u would stop the cp charms asab and then u would banish...that was a big mistake..and there are still cp hackers that u can never find them and ban...u will see...
i have tried cp hack after a pacth on my alt and sent a ticket immediatly...told u there is cp hack still ... it works...i said...did not use it on my main char....so what did u do??
u know what u do...see u...

Hey, Aeria.

Fun fact.

You want to go for a 5, not a 1.

So when more than half of the people who say anything give you a one, you're doing something wrong.

And if you're doing something wrong, it's a bad thing.

I wouldn't state the obvious if it looked like you knew what the obvious was.

(Meanwhile, in 2008, no rating went above 30%. Strange, isn't it?)

You guys earned your 1 this month for Soldier Front. I thought things were improving and these kill events would be better for the community, but they're nothing more than an underhanded ploy to avoid paying out large amounts of people. The Spring Break Event only required 300 kills per event with 20 matches per mode, and now you've increased it to 600 and 30? This isn't even possible, let alone reasonable, for people who don't spend 8 hours sitting at the computer. Many users worked hard to complete specific events for various reasons: either not liking one of the modes, or they could only play for 1 day, and you are refusing to give them their prizes because 'They didn't do it in order.'

This is completely unacceptable, and all it's going to do is drive away the few remaining players you do have from the game permanently. Recently, most of my games have been with brand new players, and if you keep treating the community like this, you'll turn them off too. If you thought patching most hacks after 6 months of ignoring them, then washing your hands of everything is going to work, you're in for a rude awakening.

Posting tiers and saying "HI I'M A GM, MAKE ME A SIG!" isn't community interaction. Try actually engaging with players on a personal basis and contributing to the forum every now and then. You are seen as community leaders and the extent of your leadership in a nutshell is "Sorry for the inconvenience, here's a tier, pasted response to a ticket, SIGNATURE CONTEST, MEDIOCRE PRIZES!, Don't complain in the shoutbox." Memphis was the only person who acted like he cared about the community, and I'm sure he'll end up in SF 2 and we'll be stuck with some monotone drone.

Said it before and I'll say it again: I spent over $100 a month on average when SF was under Memphis control, and now it's down to $25 because your customer service is just awful. When you start pretending you care and share something with the community other than bad news, maybe you'll get less complaints.

Tickets are being answered too slow. Any other game tickets are resolved for me within 24 hours, and for one of mine, its still on going. Also, need to do something about SB's piss poor game management. Economy is screwed, IM is overpriced to the average person, and more that you can easily find by just going over to the forums, which are filled with cries of woe.

I'm sure they know all about those problems already, but are just slow to reacting to the feedback, or maybe just unsure of a resolution, or maybe just flat out ignoring everyone because race car?

Related to A.V.A.

I returned to A.V.A. after seeing there was a giant patch update. Honestly, I was impressed! Unfortunately, the servers were unstable from this "giant patch update" and numerous players were constantly kicked out during the game randomly. This was a huge disappointment after many thought there was light at the end of the tunnel for this game. There is evidence from the forums for A.V.A. which many express this discontent.

Anyway, hackers are still an issue in A.V.A. again. Originally, I thought UAV hacks (being able to see all players on the map) was bad until many players are starting to acquire an aimbot type of hack that was recently released. At this point, I most likely will continue to play A.V.A. but not frequently or spend AP until there is a consistency in server stability, hack free (99-100%), and monthly content updates. I think the main pressing concerns speaking on behalf of the A.V.A. player community are hackers and server stability.

Soldier Front

Here is a paste of one of my threads that went unanswered by any of your staff except for a couple of GS's who commented but the comments had nothing to do with the thread. This is why much of the Soldier Front community is not happy at all with your service.

Dear Aeria Games
Regarding Events/Terms Of Service and other issues

Regarding playtimes and other events, don't make them if your going to make up new rules to ban people for. Making new rules up which are on forums that are not part of Terms of Service. So when one reads TOS, agree to them, obide by them, only to find out there are posts on the forums which are "rules" but they are not part of the TOS, this is unfair, and looks like you just make up rules to suit yourselfs, just because you can. The whole point of hosting events is to gain popularity and attract new clientele/players, not to chase the existing ones away and lose revenue in the process instead of gainning it.

GMs attitude towards players is horrificly bad and treats them like subhuman. People are so scared to do anything that they are down right quitting the game completely. People being banned for such minor reasons due to the GMs being too lazy to even give it a second thought are just simply not interested in investing in this game anymore because they can see how easily it can be lost.

People spend massive amount of money on weapon bombs and stack game items for years on one account just to see some hidden rule somewhere or have the the TOS bended against them
to justify a ban just so they can make another account and spend massive amount of money all over again, I personally find this utterly pathetic and imoral, that is not the way someone should be treated.

I have personally seen a large number of the original players who were some of the top real money spenders in Soldier Front when it was hosted by Ijji leave this game in the past four months due to the severe poor quality of customer service or Aeria Games and the ones that are still here barely spend much at all if any.

Most players that actually play the game without the drama which makes at least 70% of the community do not read the forums untill they are banned for reasons that are despicable and so minor, most people that play video games are addicted to the live gameplay its self not some chat box in the forums.

Regarding boosting/swapping, I have tb swapped and boosted plenty back in Ijji and I know exactly how it works, You have a group of friends who play daily and use the ingame play as community chat box but limited to the group only so a private room is made so they are not disturbed by anyone outside the group, the whole point was if you are going to chat for hours with each other why not play the game in a manner where no one gets agitated by the gameplay and achieve higher rank at the same time. Please explain to me how achieving a 3 star rank boosting from time to time in 6 years without any hacks is an exploit of the game when people are doing it in less then 6 days now.

If some people choose to have private group games they should be allowed to, they dont bother anyone so why should they be bothered and how is it an exploit of the game when the company is not being scammed for anything, no hacks are being used and the other players in the community are not affected by them ingame when they are playing in public. High rank and some numbers on a profile of a player does not make him/her any better then a fresh trainee account so how is that a exploit in any way.

Any staff reading this should understand the players point of view, as players we have spent years getting to know the game that we play on almost daily bases, after years of playing with the same community you get to know the players really good and understand each others frustration when it comes to issues regarding the game and currently the majory of the community is not happy with how easily they can be exploited by the hosting company, I know this because I have recently lost so many good friends that I have known for years that played this game and others complain daily.

The problem is bigger then these events, the general attitude of the staff towards players/customers is unacceptable, your staff seem to forget who actually funds this game and keep it alive.

You have a total community of around 2000 players 25% of those players who actually spend money buying Aeria Points and about 50% of the 25% are regular spenders who have been around for years which makes up about 250 players who spend heavily on this game, through out the years you start to get to know those players really good and know their concerns, it is these regular players that are vanishing increasingly due to poor management and severe penalties for minor mistakes and sometimes without a reason.

Yours truly:
Voice of a dying community
