Dmg Calcuations

Need a build? why not do some math before wasting OPs trying out different builds/links
I) Calculate your attackpower:

Melee DMG
((1,5*(weapon attackpower+(amount of STR*1,3)+(amount of DEX*0,2)+passiv skills+skilldamage)*element damage)+(amount of LUC*crit multiplier)
Ranged DMG
((1,5*(weapon attackpower+(amount of STR*1,0)+(amount of DEX*0,2)+(amount of LUC/3)+passiv skills+skilldamage)*element damage)+(amount of
LUC*crit multiplier)
Magic DMG
((1,5*(weapon attackpower+(amount of INT*1,3)+(amount of WIS *0,2)+passiv skills+skilldamage)*element damage)+(amount of LUC*crit multiplier)

II) Calculate your damage at your enemy:

Melee
((1,5*(weapon attackpower+(amount of STR*1,3)+(amount of DEX*0,2)+passiv skills+skilldamage-pDefense of your enemy)*element damage)+(amount of LUC*crit multiplier)-amount of absorption
Ranged
((1,5*(weapon attackpower+(amount of STR*1,0)+(amount of DEX*0,2)+(amount of LUC/3)+passiv skill+skilldamage-rDefense of your enemy)*element damage)+(amount of
LUC*crit multiplier)-amount of absorption
Magic
((1,5*(weapon attackpower+(amount of INT*1,3)+(amount of WIS *0,2)+passiv skill+skilldamage-resistence)*element damage)+(amount of LUC*crit multiplier)-amount of absorption

III) Infos:
Passiv skills = support spell, leadership etc.
1,5 = crit
Element damage: Right Ele = *1,4 ; Neutral Ele = *1,0 ; Wrong Ele = *0,5
Crit multiplier: randomly from 0 - 1,5
rDefense = the basic def your armor gives you. Safe-lapis, any lapis gives +def, guard/def-buffs and any other skills does NOT push your ranged-defense, the only spell pushes is the marksman song from
archer/hunter.

IV) Differences between REC and absorption:

REC (=physical defense) lowering the attackpower of your melee-enemy BEFORE it's calculated with element and crit.
Examples: 1000 attackpower against your 500 def on right ele (without crit multiplier):
((1,5*(1000 - 500))*1,4) = 1050 DMG
Without your defense:
((1,5*(1000 - 0))*1,4) = 2100 DMG

Absorption on the other hand lowering your damage AFTER it's calculated with element and crit.
But absorption lowering your taken physical DMG, ranged DMG and magic DMG.
Example: 1000 attackpower against your 500 absorption on right ele (without crit multiplier and defense):
(1,5*(1000*1,4)) = 2100-500ABS =1600 DMG

V) Damage from Luck:

Luck gives you randomly a multiplier from 0-1,5 of your amount of luck.
Example: 1000 attackpower on right ele with 600 LUC
With highest crit multiplier (*1,5):
(1,5*(1000*1,4))+(600*1,5)=3000DMG
With lowest crit multiplier (*0):
(1,5*(1000*1,4))+(600*0)=2100DMG

Not bad, but for magic attack it is resistance*2 always. Unless they decide to change that... Maybe you could make an example on the REC vs ABS section for WIS too?

Is there any consideration for Level difference in section II?

Generally people who dive this far into looking at their builds and such are at a high standard of pvp and are serious, I don't think they'd be concerned about people being a higher level as that's either not possible (16+ or 31+ in 15/canta) or it's a better case for you if they're lower than you.
So level difference isn't really in this probably because that would take more time to figure out than it's worth, since pvping is generally same level ground.
