the fact is, on this game anyway, rogues do have a lot of crit/crit damage with soul/skills/gears/title, even blessing now. the devs I don't think took into consideration to give the options of crit defense. Let's take a glimpse at the soul for defense against crit (assuming all level 10):
Resilience (Ice) - Crit Defense +62
Acceptance (Void) - Crit Defense +108
Forgiveness (Void) - Crit Defense +62
Now for the Crit Offense (assuming all lvl10):
Cruelty (Brilliance) - Crit Rating +259 - Crit Damage +30%
Simplicity (Void) - Crit Rating +96 - Crit Chance +10% - Crit Damage +20%
---Total: CR +355 - CC +10% - CD +50%
Now factor in the skills:
Slayer’s Call 5/5 - +15% Crit strike
Brutality 5/5 - +35% Crit strike rating for 8 seconds
Shadow Rush 5/5 (4 second stun)
Critical strike damage range: [[(PATK*0.85*B-C),(PATK*1.15*B-C)] = [R1,R2]
B = your crit damage (as a whole number)
if your crit damage is 200%, you would use '2' as your B value
C = target's PDEF
(the 0.85/1.15 value comes from your basic attack ranges, seems to fluxuate ~ ±15%, so 1-0.15=0.85, 1+0.15=1.15)
I'm not sure which crit gets increased or by how much per agi point added, and not even counting gears or gems, but this roughly means:
average rogue let's say has 10k patk and 250% crit damage.. and the target is has , for example, 2k pdef.
[[(10k*0.85*2.5-2k),(10k*1.15*2.5-2k)] = [19250,26750]
Now you can kinda see with just skills, not counting stats, gears and souls and gems, that it's quite quite crazy xD .. I haven't quite figured out yet the Crit Rating vs Crit Defense figures, but you can imagine with a 10-15k increase in the damage done to you without anything but skills and assuming 10k patk 250% crit dmg (which alot of rogues are a lot, lot higher), you can begin to see damage of 30k, 40k, +++++++++++++
Factor in a Superior Frag VII, stats are Crit Strike +31 - Crit Damage +16% - Crit Strike +9% ... bleh...
Main point: we definately need more ways against crits. I don't think the devs thought it through when they was doing crit defenses haha..
(p.s. this is a ~rough~ estimation.. you can plug in ur own stats etc if u like, tho values may significantly increase/decrease due to soul/gems/gears/etc)
