Information on Guild System

Aimed at helping guild leaders design guild names and specifications LO will support

The following aspects of LO's guild system are current but subject to change:

They will show when members log in and log out.
Guild members will receive more experience when partying together.
There will be guild skills guild members will be able to receive.
Guild members will be able to donate money into a guild pool.

You can level up your guild.
A level 1 guild will permit 100 members to join.

Guild names are required to be four characters long at least.
You must be level 20 at least and have 30 gold to found a guild.
Spaces are not permitted in a guild name.
No inappropriate words are permitted in a guild name.
There will be guild chat and guild messages.

There is a guild search system.
Guilds can list themselves as open for recruitment on this system.
Those looking for a guild can use this system to apply for a guild. The guild will receive your application and accept or deny.

Guild names will at least be allowed to be 10 characters in length, because there was a guild named HighSchool in the Thai version. This means that all guilds with names at or shorter than 10 characters can rest easy they'll be allowed to keep their names.

Some unresolved questions:

How long can guild names be?
There will be guild insignia, but will different ranks within the guild have their own insignia as well?
How many different ranks are permitted for a guild?
Are the ranks customizeable with regard to permissions, titles and insignia?
How long are titles for guild ranks permitted to be?

Keep in mind a lot of these things could have changed and the sources are no longer viable. Except maybe Anex's because it was a planned future addition.

Things like a level 1 guild permitting 100 members may not be true. The Korean version allows for only 30 members, this will probably be changed to something more when we receive our version.

Currently I don't have much info on guilds, since when I did manage to get into a guild in the KR version, it wasn't for very long because it was on the last day of CBT.

Things that I do know:

~ There is a guild search system.
~ Guilds can list themselves to be open for recruitment on the guild search system. The system involves applying for a guild and the guild will then receive your application and can either accept or deny.

That's all I know for now that is certain. But once again, a lot might have been changed already, and a lot more can change between the KR version and ours. Although the basics will probably not change.

An important question I have is if you know how long a guild name can be. The longest guild name I've seen in any video or picture of the actual game was only 9 characters.
