I agree, I don't understand why I need to register for a FREE survey. What do they do with my info, why do they need it, and why can't I fill out the survey as an unknown? And if you download something, you getting a bunch more programs then bargained for. What are they, is there a virus mixed in? And even if they are legit, it just clogs your computer.

Aeria does not control the sites that give out AP. This
is a pretty cool guide on how to be cautious when doing free AP offers.

So if one of these 'partners' don't front up with the AP, wouldn't you think that Aeria would have something to say about since customer will consider then responsible for advertising it?

Other than the casino signup, I have got nothing for the others I have done.

Pretty much a ripoff for whats stated you get.

It's very easy to contact these partner sites and let them know you didn't receive your ap. If they don't give it to you when you've proven that you completed the offer, then send a ticket as you've already been instructed so that Aeria will have documentation of the issue to address with the partner sites. It's only a ripoff if you let it be by not contacting the company responsible, which is not Aeria but the site giving away the AP.

I sent contact to them (the 'partners') days ago with proof (copy of their email sent to me stating I registered with them, supposedly all that was required) that I did not receive the promised AP.

I have received no reply from them or Aeria. In my opinion this denotes 'ripoff'

I was planning to say the heck with the 'free ap' ripoff crap, and just pay.

But now it will be a cold day in the fire and brimstone place that I ever give actual money to Aeria

Sorry honey but apparently you have no clue on what is legal and what is not. Just because you spent your money on something does not mean you are not entitled to what is fair and legal.

If you bought a $150 blouse and got it home and then found out it was flawed are you simply out of luck? You bought it so you only have yourself to blame right?

They have no direct control over the offers, the offers are provided by external partners. If the partners didn't pay for the AP, Aeria can't give it to you, even if you finish the listed offer. It's not BS, it's how the Free AP system works.

Which is how it works in every free cash shop $ partner offer I've seen, across many different publishers.

If there are too many issues Aeria can stop allowing that company to put up offers, but Aeria can't demand they payout, anymore than you can demand Microsoft pay you for McAfee hacking your computer even though you got McAfee through a Microsoft website ad.

If you'd like to do more free AP offers or do more of the offers, I would really recommend reading through this: http://www.aeriagames.com/forums/en/viewtopic.php?t=1870143

That being said, what draakdorei said is true; All offers are provided by external partners. Aeria Games & Entertainment has no direct control over them.

However, if an offer attempts to give you a virus or refuses to give AP, you can notify our billing team and after you provide some basic information, they can get the offer/partner removed and possibly (possibly) give you the Aeria Points.

---

This system is in place to give all players an opportunity to earn free Aeria Points with out purchasing or participating in our events. If it were completely removed I'm sure there would be an outcry of "Aeria Greed". However as we can not possibly test all these offers (there are thousands and they update regularly) we can not fully support or endorse them.
