Governments just fail at a lot of things but then again its pretty hard to control an organisation that large. AGE has to worry about one company and still struggles. I hate sending in tickets here as its so impersonal, almost every other game I have used it on has been 100% better then the one here.
Here you are a number. Another MMO i play that i won't name but shares its franchise with 6 very well known sci-fi movies, not only has a number you are free to call for help, but the tickets are more or less catered to the individual and does it in a very fast manner, not 1 Gen response fits all ever 2 or 3 days, now I'm not blaming the GMs here, there are 5 of them and a player base this large they need to cut it down to the essentials, but d4mn it Aeria, really? Said other MMO has many thousands more players than this game, and they still make you feel wanted as a customer. Wanna know why? Because they care, and they invest in it with money, they actually take steps needed to improve their services, and most importantly they don't alienate the people that pay their wages.

Why am i wasting my time? The company doesn't and never will care...

Oh well, consigned to the R&R thread graveyard.

That probably says something in itself:
- I'd thought I was making a comment about the fact that AGE are seemingly winding down the amount of effort that they are prepared to put into Shaiya.
- A mod obviously thought the point was more general than that and that it said something about the AGE attitude to support/customer service across all titles.

I guess that means that I should look to alternative publishers with my discretionary spending.

If any PM/GM would like to convince me otherwise then the ticket in question is #9400897 - it's not a major issue in itself, in fact it's really very trivial but the way it has been handled has really, really got under my skin and is quite possibly the straw that's broken this camel's back.

The fact they even have a Rants and Raves section says a lot about the company. If you have this section wouldn't you think there is something wrong here?

Are you really comparing Aeria to probably the most expensive game ever made (and flopped financially)? Wanna know why you feel more wanted? You are at the noob/fanboy phase and have not reached the terminal phase in that game yet. Every FTP MMO will be a money pit sooner or later once those at the top realise players pay more for instant power up over standard subscription. Only in Aeria the standard subscription is $200 and they try to justify that by say you can play multiple titles here but in reality that subscription is not even enough to play 1 game here.

BAM BAM my gingerbread went BOOMZ!

I think the problem is that 90% (if not more) of the topics in the rants and raves section concern Aeria...

Ever wonder how Technature lives the life of a soldier? How about asking a person that doesn't actually exist questions? Then drop by Technature's blog and drop a letter.

I might be stupid but not as clueless as you. So you are still in the fanboy phase then. Tell me how you feel about their services when the FTP model over there takes over completely. I bet all the better customer service wont mean jack to you when you are forced to pay as much to 'win' over there as you were forced to pay here.
