Help my cleric

Hello everyone. Two days ago i started playing EE.It's a really nice game even if my pc can't run it very well.I chose,as always, the healing class.I read few topics about Cleric and bards and I'm a bit confused.Someone in my guild told me to add casting speed(5), m-crit dmg(5), m-crit rate (5) and wis (1) but then i read cspd isn't good for cleric. Now are the other KP good or it's a mess and start over or should buy a tome to reset them?
I'm usually playing as a solo healer and even if it's harder i enjoy it.I also read the i should lvl other classes too so i can get their certificates.I will do that but later. But I'm curious how are clerics at high levels? Are they good pvp-ers with a proper eq?

I had more question but lost some of them on the way to the forum.I'll edit when I'll remember them. Also thank you in advance.

Good guide lower down. Cast speed is good because who wants slow heals? Smile

Cast Speed is good, but Cast Speed KP is largely ineffective. By the time the multiplier amounts to anything significant, your base Cast Speed should already be sufficient for whatever you need to do.

That guide is really only for race selection o_o but it does explain the various cleric builds. I'll give you the KP setup for all three builds:

Cleric: Mcrit healer (relies on high mcrit rate to make heals crit for more):
-15 lvls exegesis (mcrit rate)
-15 lvls evangelical theory (g-healing)
-5 lvls sacred breath (bonus to purifying wind)
-5 lvls enlightenment (bonus to healing radiance)
-5 lvls healing hands (bonus to divine light)
- 1 lvl prophecy research (bonus to hard truth buff)
-1 lvl divine knowledge (bonus to light blessing buff)
- X lvls into hymnal (mcrit dmg) <--- put points here as needed. I would wait until you get an armor set, enchants, glyphs, certs, etc to start putting points here. If you need more than the 3 points left over, take a lvl or 2 out of G-healing. It is possible to achieve 3.00 mcrit dmg without putting any points at all into mcrit dmg. Keep that in mind.

Cleric - dps (build fully centered on dealing damage)

-20 lvls exegesis
-X lvls hymnal
-1 lvl divine knowledge
-10 lvls shield defense
-5 lvls holy smite
-5 lvls light's sanction
If you have extra points after that, put them into elightenment (since you'll use it as a self heal) or g-healing, to boost your crit heal levels. You could also put points for skill dmg into g-healing if you feel that you won't get much of a boost from that.

Wis/g-heal healing:

15 lvls wisdom
15 lvls g-healing
5 lvls pwind > 5 lvls healing radiance
5 lvls healing hands > 1 lvls hard truth
1 lvl light blessing buff

This will give you 8 extra points. Just add them into wis or g-healing. If you'd prefer, you can also take the points out of enlightenment to put into wis/g-healing as well.

Copy and pasted from an old post of mine. The builds are still good but the level cap might have raised since the time of the post, so you might be able to add more points into it.

Just remember to NOT put points into cast speed, as katashi said. To elaborate on it, cast speed kp is based on a % of what you already have from gear and whatnot. If you started with 200 cast speed, 10 levels into the kp will give you 200 * 10%, or 220 cast speed. So, that 10 levels (or 15 points) will have been wasted for a grand total of a 20 cast speed gain XD hence why its not recommended for casters (mages and healers alike) to put.

If you need cast speed, get it from certs, the ice meteor, your mace passive, and if you have the money later, legendary achievements and maybe even a cast speed pet. Don't worry if you don't understand what all of that means yet; the bolded stuff is what's important.

If you don't like how your kp is set up, consider resetting it with a Memory Tome. This can wait until later levels when you have more money though.

I noticed that you also asked on the useful-ness of cleric in end-game pvp. The answer is: amazing. The mcrit-built healers, if built correctly, make all the difference in a war or arena match. The entire team depends on those clerics to keep them alive. Dps clerics are good for crowd control since they get a spammable AOE stun that can effectively shut down an enemy team if done well. So, keep playing cleric if you enjoy it! You'll definitely be needed if you like to heal.

Hope that answers your questions. If you have more, just make a new reply if you don't mind XD I don't get a notification if all you do is edit, and that way I can easily see the new question.

INT and M-ATK do not affect your healing in any way. These stats influence your damage when using magic offensive skills.

G-Healing affects how much you heal others. P-healing affects how much you heal yourself. So as above mentioned, you should focus on raising your "g-healing" stats because generally as a cleric, your pheal is high enough to heal yourself sufficiently.

To increase your g-heal and WIS I would suggest using:

-G-healing and WIS Proc items (trophies, rings, necklaces, weapons, etc)
-Increase your class score (Level all your classes)
-Complete the legendary achievements (Summoning materials Lv.1-65, Mining 1-65, Farming 1-65, Craft Maces 1-65)
-Healer Trophy Enchants

As a crit healer you should get your M-DMG stat up as well. Why? The mdmg stat is what can double or triple your crit. A M-DMG of 2.85-3.00 if recommended to aim at.

To increase your mdmg:

-Use amulet enchants on your rings (gives 0.6 mdmg each)
-Craft lv.1-65 rings (1.5 mdmg it gives I believe if not mistaken)
-Mdmg certs include Shaman and Warlock classes

Of course your M-Crit needs to be decent as well. 60%-80% would be where to target your mcrit and this ofc all depends on personal preference and healing style.

-Using luck Elimination Gems
-Comprehension (Mcrit enchants)
-LCK and Mcrit fortifications on armor and weapons
-Mcrit Proc trophies
-Mcrit certs from bard and illusionist
-LCK title

I would suggest using a shield and mace. As a healer you need survival-ability because if you are going to solo or even be in a party, it would not do well if you are 1 shot by mobs or a boss. You want to use a mace because if a cleric, the main support class, the passive gives 20% cast speed. Aim for maces that give WIS procs and aim for shields that give a WIS and/or Elemental proc. Staves generally do not have a good healer proc and will not help block magic or physical damage to keep you alive.

For healing, you might want to pick either the Crackshot or Sanctum Trait, though I favour the Crackshot trait.

Of course all this depends on your level and budget. If you provide more details as to your race, intention (TW, PvP, PvE cleric?) and level, I or someone else would gladly be able to go into more detail.

I think that's a bit to advanced for my understanding capabilities about the game.I'm a human and in the MMO i played as healer PvM was hard but not impossible.Good gear and time would the the work. There from lvl 86 with a good eq it was kinda hard to beat one in PvP.Also I decided to go M-crit healing in a way to be a monster on my own but to be able to help others while being that way.Kinda strange but I'll figure out a way.
Could you explained more detailed what means "WIS proc items" and trophies? I read about them and saw them in game but I don't really understand them. There are few more but only two at a time so i can remember them Very Happy

A "proc" is something that has a chance to trigger an effect. Most procs are found on accessories and trophies and trigger when you attack an enemy or cast a skill depending on the proc. Here's an example of a wisdom proc:

http://puu.sh/2k289

If you were to equip that ring, then every time you attack or cast a skill, you will have a 5% chance to trigger the effect. The effect is that your wisdom and movespeed is raised.

5% might seem like a low chance, but if you were to aoe (lets say you use healing radiance on a party of 5 people) then you have a 5% chance to proc for every person you hit with the heal. The same thing works with aoe-ing on top of enemies.

Procs can allow you customize your build and reach stats much higher than what your base gear gives you. Let's look at the mcrit healing build for example. Maybe your mcrit rate is low. If you were to get accessories that proc luck or mcrit rate, then you can raise it to a more suitable amount to make up for what you lack in base stats.

There are hundreds of different kinds of procs throughout the game, so I suggest your explore the archive to find ones you think you might like.

As for Taichou's post, she gave you a build directed at a lvl 65+ cleric. So hang onto to it for future reference, as it's correct but just not yet pertinent to your level. If you tell me your level, I can give you a customized list of items to help increase your stats, but the mcrit healing build is really designed for end-game healing anyway. For now, do as Taichou says and try to obtain wis and g-healing procs, like the ring I posted.

Now I'm lvl 26 and 59% with lvl 24 cleric 53%.I also found where to buy trophies. But i dropped something I've never seen in a game before: a painting. What can I do with that?Is there a room or something is town where to use it? Also what are town's quest and how can those be done?

Later on, you have the option to get player house where you can put furniture and decorations, such as that painting. You get the ability to get a house at lvl 30 or 35, i forget the exact number.

You have the option of establishing a house in aven, golden plains, or your guild town if you guild owns one. The house is free permanently if you choose to make it in a guild town; otherwise you have to pay a weekly rent.

Furniture is used to decorate and add "stats" to your house. If your house has enough of the stats, you can pay to host banquets, which are short parties that give all attending guests a small amount of exp/cp and a 2hour buff, depending on what banquet was hosting. When you see ppl in world call saying something like "Hosting (Banquet: Private Party) in my house at guild town in 5 mins" that's what they are doing :3 Its free to attend any banquet you aren't hosting, so try going to some of them for the free exp and buffs.

Hang onto the painting if you want, but they are VERY easy and cheap to acquire later, so if you need bag room, just toss it.
