OCG League

OCG has recently partnered up with Aeria Games to help revive some of AvA's Competition.

OCG is a new league looking to create an easy to use platform for new players to get into competition, but also keep the high level competition for veteran competition players.

We strive to create a safe, hacker-free outlet for players to easily jump into Pugs, Drafts, Sign up for Tournaments and more.

We will be hosting an AvA Draft with prizes this Saturday at 8PM EST

Vent Info: OCG.maxfrag.net | 3823

Prizes are TBA but our last draft we gave out 2 Razer Mousepads.

You can find more info on our Website here:
http://ocgaming.org

Our Ruleset is still in beta, and we will be working with the community to create the most balanced and easy ruleset for our players to use.

Looking forward to see how this Draft Turns out, and looking forward to meeting the competitive community.

Hope this NA tourny does well

add more maps to the map pool and have an odd number of maps, so higher seed eliminates first but lower seed picks the map then higher seed picks side. "flip a coin" is dumb.

and specify if its 2 halves 6 rounds each or something

no xm8 and m40..good good

Psst, you're missing red smoke and TMP, unless you left those out for a reason.

Do you have anyone in the staff that is competitive cause if you don't this is going to be one messy tourney since you guys won't be acquainted with the game and how most competitive matches in AVA are played. BTW your map pool is too small and the maps are horrid. The only decent map is Hammer Blow. No one plays Fox Hunting and Black Scent is unplayable due to all the snow and **** problems on it.

If you read the rules, you'll see they're in Beta. We all have Competitive backgrounds, though the other staff have much less than I do, so they put me in charge of the ruleset. I've played years of Counter-Strike and Promod, I keep up to date with CS:GO and the meta of the game as well, but I don't play the game out of dislike for it's mechanics and current state.

If you'd like. Post your argument for the rules on the ruleset thread, and we'll have the community poke holes in it until we can make something work for everyone.

We're also working on a Promod ruleset of the game as well for League, which will balance the game more than IeSF and ESL.

dont think anyone complains about iesf or esl. maybe server/ping issues but thats it

dont forget ur make a tourny/draft/season for the players not for urselfs and how you want it to be (even tho its ur organization).

and they way youre making it sound...sounds like we are going to have only certain euro guns allowed and X amount of them per team. for example like only 2paras per team or something dumb like that

edit: lawl these are the only rifles and scope your allowing?
M4a1
AK47
FAMAS
AUG-A1
G3A3
TAR21
K2 Rail

tpg

talk about playing old school....i think esl already has an old school tourny
