[size=24]Write a Guide about Wartune!

Simply Post in this thread your guide to helping other player understand Wartune! It can be about anything as long as the guide follows these rules:

-The guide must be accurate
-The guide can be about any system in Wartune. However, preference will be given to guides about things that addresses more complex features than others. (E.g. A guide about how to fortify gear will be given more consideration vs a guide how to equip weapons)
Here are some suggestions:
MP Dungeon
Divine Altar
Battlegrounds
Guild Wars
Clothing system
Guide to level 30-40 guide
World Boss
you know, stuff like that.
- Variety is the spice of life! Hopefully you guys pick a whole bunch of different subject to write guides about. If there are 5 well written guides on one subject and 1 well written guide on another, the subject with one guide has a better chance of being selected.
-Original Content only! Plagiarized entries will be disqualified.

Other than that, have fun! This is a fantastic opportunity to help out your fellow gamers and earn some free AP!

Guide for Maximizing Farm Profit

Follow this guide to maximize your WARTUNE farm's profit potential:

First of all, good farming is about good planning. Generally, there are 4 types of seeds you can plant for different results:

Kryanite (used for tech construction in the Academy)

Gold

Daru

EXP

Depending on what prize you want to attain (remember you can only plant ONE Kryanite seed per crop), you have to decide how long you want the seeds to mature. Seeds normally come in 1 and 4 hour wait times, and the super seeds (either bought with Balens or won in chests, VIP Wheel, etc.) take 12 hours to mature.

If you are going to be playing for a good number of hours, its probably best to plant several sets of 1 hour plants. You can harvest several crops at quicker intervals, making the flow of the resource you plant greater than waiting for longer hours.

If you plan to play for a few hours and pop in and out a few times a day, you might want to plant 4 hour plants and harvest them every 4 hours.

The 12 hour plants, which net a huge amount of the resource, are best planted when you decide to log out of the game for a considerable period of time, like going to sleep for the night, or going to work all day (yeah, work is a drag).

Keep in mind that the higher you upgrade your farmland, the times in takes until seed maturity decrease. For instance, if your farm is level 4, a 4 hour seed might take 3 and half hours to mature, or a 12 hour seed may take 11 and a half hours to mature, etc.

The key to successful farming is good time management. Keep these hints in mind and Happy Farming!

WARTUNE Guide for non-cashers v.0.0001

More than a guide there are some interesting tips to get the max from your resources, and more important things you should avoid to do to waste them. Even if i'm a casher and VIP i wasn't from the start of the game, bought my first balens at my lv38 so if you are a non-casher or have doubs about buy or not balens or VIP status this guide will help you meanwhile. Keep in mind that this guide will not teach you to play, are just some advices about how to get stuff without waste a lot of resources since non-cashers and more non-VIP are not swiming in gold.

Sumary

1. My Character.
1.1 Classes. Who i'm and what i'm supossed to do.
1.2 Skills.

2. Resources.
2.1 Gold, how to get it and how to save it.
2.3 Vouchers, a valuable resource. Where to spend and where not.
2.4 Building my city.

3. Things you should do everyday if possible.
3.1 Farm.
3.2 Catacombs
3.3 Arena, duel and party.
3.4 BattleGround
3.5 Dungeons
3.6 Devotion

4. Equipment and gems.
4.1 Upgrading equip.
4.2 Synthetize gems and when worth convert.
4.3 Astrals.

5. My Guild and me.

1. My Character

1.1 Classes. Who i'm and what i'm supossed to do.

In Wartune are 3 classes, Mage, Knights and Archers. Knight are what usually people call tanks, high defense with high HP to take heavy damage without die so easy, however knight can also be a good DD (Damage Dealer), you will need to think carefully the orientation of your character. Archers are pure DD, they most usefull tool are the skills due archers are class with more chances to select a target. And mages, as usual, are powerfull sorceress with impresive AoE (Area of Effect) skill capables of do massive damage to all enemies, but usually they are more required as healers since they are the only class with heal skills.

1.2 Skills.

Skill are what define your character, you get one skill point to spare every two levels. It's a good thing to experiment with the skills before lv25 since you can reset the skills tree as much as you want, once you pass the lv25 it will cost vouchers, and not just a few.
Also remeber that non-cashers can't buy the double skill tree, so waste your points carefully and be sure you don't buy a skill that later will be usefull combined with your other skills.
There is a link to the oficial Wartune website with a skills simulator, here you can planing you skills tree or just check how much they improve in each upgrade to chose if waste a skill point here or not.
http://wartune.r2games.com/skill

2. Resources.

2.1 Gold, how to get it and how to save it.

Gold is our primary resource, used to upgrade our town, equipment, contribute to your guild, capture Astrals... In other words no gold = no game. There are severals ways to get gold.

a.) Upgrade your town hall and refinery, as higher the better.

b.) Plunder a quarry, you can have two quarry as same time and even when it's not much what they give all counts.

c.) Plunder another player, when you plunder another player you get a % of current player's gold. Personally i have take other gold but everyone play him own way.

d.) Farm, see farm section later for full info.

e.) Fight a World Boss, this is a must, since you will get gold and daru at same time, don't worry if you do low damage on the boss or your level is too low, join everytime you can. Troops and HP potions are not waste on World Boss so it's a free gold/daru

2.2 Vouchers, a valuable resource. Where to spend and where not.

Vouchers are a different kind of coin used in Wartune, you can buy things that can't with gold. However, while gold can rain and growth in the plants vouchers are harder to get and should be spend carefully.
The first thing you must buy with vouchers are the second contruction team, since you are a non-casher and by extension a non VIP later in the game you will find only one contruction team isn't enought fast when cooldowns starts to take hours. Once you have your second contruction team i advice to sabe all the vouchers you can for upgrade your farm, again see in farm section for more details. Also, it's a good idea use vouchers in World Boss to receive the +5% to all stats (more damage = more gold/daru).
Outside of those 3 things you must save vouchers, you will be tempted to waste some to speed up cooldown but believe me, doesn't worth. Even if you are leveling faster than your city it's only the first 40 levels, maybe you think you should spend vouchers on speed up cooldowns to have your buildings at your level but when you reach the 40 and take 2-3 days to up one level then your city will go up faster than you.
Waste Vouchers on runes is a personal choice, usually you get runes along the game as rewards but if you really need a specific rune go buy it.

2.3 Daru and Kyanite

This to resources are use only to upgrades, daru is for upgrading troops. You get daru in every battle where your troops are with you, in the World Boss and as rewards in some events. You can't have all troops from the begining, you will unlock them when level up, save your daru for your level 40 troops and go around with a troops as low level isn't a good idea, always try to have the troops at your same level and don't worry if you waste all your daru, in higher levels it isn't so hard to get.
Kyanite is used in the academy to upgrade your technologies, can be obtained as reward in dungeons but always in slow amounts, the best way to get these is farming or plundering another player... plunder and win...

2.4 Building my city.

Your priorite should be the town hall, higher town hall produces more gold/hour and have higher levy to recollec, besides town hall you should focus on gold refinery and barracks. Try to have this three buildings at your same level, academy, warehouse and cottage are up to you how much level them or not, usually you should level it according of your needs. i.e. if you are getting good amounts of kyanite each day raise the academy to use them, if you never have more than 500k gold on you don't bother too much with the warehouse, etc...

3. Things you should do everyday if possible.

3.1 Farm.

This is a MUST, in your farm you can get gold, daru, exp and kyanite. Also your farm help you to raise the friendlines with your friends and this give you good bonus when party with them. For more info about farm check Surah's Guide to Maximizing Farm.
http://www.aeriagames.com/forums/en/viewtopic.php?t=1923381#15694703

3.2 Catacombs

Fun, profitable, and a good way to check your improves. Catacombs is a dungeons where you will descend floor by floor defeating enemies in each one, every five floors you will find a boss guarding a treasure chest with valuable items lige gems and tokens. You should already know the importance of gems and tokens, so try to go as far as you can on the catacombs everyday. A good, easy way to make this is using blitz, just go down as far as you can and the next day blitz catacombs, meanwhile check your forums PM, msn, mail, etc... once the blitz finish continue youself trying to go far.
Each boss coffer have some lv1-lv2 gems in the first 50 levels and tokens, well, read carefully now. KEEP ALL GEMS, if you check the blacksmith there is a option to convert gems, use it if you want to toss your gold for the w.c. read the 4.2 part of this guide for more info.

3.3 Arena, duel and party.

Arena is a PvP event where you can face one player or join a 3 vs 3 battle, try to spam it everyday since you will get insignias than can be exchanged for equip in the arena shop. No matter if you win or lose, you always get insignias, less if lose but at least some. The equip you can buy in the arena shop is really helpful at low levels.

3.4 BattleGround

This is a game mode where two equips fight for a resource, battleground rewards participants with insignias, honor and battleground shards that can be synthetized into chest. This battles are 15 vs 15 and with 10 levels range (30-39, 40-49, etc...) If you are low level and can stand a chance agains other players try to collect all the resources you can, that will give you shatters to make chest and get gems, soul crystals, and other good stuffs. However, again patient is a key here cause in every BG are a greed honor farmer that only aims to kill weak people, those guys are usully people too much coward to level up and join the next BG range and they will attack you constanstly and most times without let you get the resources first.

3.5 Dungeons

Two kind of dungeons, solo and multiplayer. You can do all the solo dungeons you want but every dungeons attemps will take 20 stamina, you have a total of 200 stamina and you recover 100 daily and till 60 from Altar of Ennoblement, once you run out of stamina you can enter a dungeon but you will not get any rewards. Multiplayers dungeons can be picked from Hall of Heroes, you will need a team of four players with a level according to the dungeon level, you have three attemps for MP dungeons and like solo dungeons once you run out of them you can still join but not get rewards. Both MP and solo are a good source of exp and equipment, also, once you complete all solo dungeons of a zone you will we rewared with a good amount of gold, daru, etc...

3.6 Devotion

In the daily panel you will see a list of task to do in order to raise your devotion, try to raise it to 95 everyday to get the rewards, they are pretty usefull.

4. Equipment and gems.

4.1 Upgrading equip.

When you get a piece of armor, ring, earring or weapon you can read beneath the name (can be enchanted to +XX). That means you can go to the blacksmith to enchant this equipment a total of XX times to improve the stats. The first time you enchant a piece of equip it have a 100% succes rate, the second time 90%, then 80% and so on till reach only a 10% succes rate. This rate can be enchanted using lucky stones, you should have found then along the game, they have lv, higher the level higher the % increase. Well, i gonna list here three simple tips to save A LOT of gold enchancing.

1.) Not use lv1-2-3-4 lucky stones, use the enchant option without stone till you reach the 50% succes rate, then you can start to use stones. Why? cause the amount of gold you will lose if fail is too low and stones are better used to synthetize in higher ones for last upgrades, especially in equip that can reach +12 or more.

2.) Like said above, do not use lucky stones that gives less than 50% succes rate, you can synthetize 2 lv1 lucky stones in one lv2 lucky stone and so on. Is better not use stone the 4-5 first enchants and save those stone to synthetize higher ones. Believe me, even if you fail 4 or 5 times enchancing a gear from +0 to +5 it will cost by far less gold than if you fail when enchancing from +11 to +12, so you really want high level lucky stones.

3.) Never use stones to raise the succes rate to 100% unless you synthetized them, if you are buying the stones from the guild shop just raise the sucess rate to 90%. Why? again a matter of profit. Like i gonna explain in the next part of the guide you can contribute to your guild to get contribution points and exchange it from stuff. To make it faster now just think that a lv9 lucky stone cost 300k and a lv8 lucky stone cost 150k. If you fail enchancing a item from +11 to +12 and lost 70k always will be cheaper that buy the lv9 luck stone. In a overall the fails you will get using only the 90% succes rate will cost you less gold than buy lv9 lucky stones for all upgrades. Remember this guide is designed for non-cahsers till level 45, above this level this metod isn't valid and buy lv9 lucky stones can be a good idea.

4.2 Synthetize gems and when worth convert.

Keep all gems you get no matter the class, and when you gather 4 of same type synthetize them in a higher level one, keep doing so till the gem reach lv4 then you can convert it. If you are asking why too much guard the gems it's a simply question of profit, convert four lv1 block gem into four lv1 MATK gem cost 40.000 (10.000 each gem) then you can synthetize them into a lv2 MATK, however if you synthetize you block gems into a lv2 only will cost you 20.000 convert it later into a MATK one. Do you see the difference? you save 20.000. Since game doesn't let us synthetize lv5 and above gems without spend balens you can convert them at level 4. There are some scrolls that tech you how to make some lv5 gems, you will get them along the game as rewards and usually are for the four gems you will use more. So, if you can make you lv5 most important gems you will still have to convert the lv4 you don't want. Make this takes patient, but actually i have 20 lv3 gems on my equip and 2 lv4 and didn't waste a single coin in convert.

4.3 Astrals.

Astrals are like other piece of equip, you can equip one astral every 10 levels. The ones you will equip depends totally on how you want to make your character. I assume you know how the astral system works, in my opinion the best option is sell the white and green astrals and capture the purple and orange, this way you will get back more gold and even you are losing 10exp per green astral you will have more attemps for purple and raise your points to directly buy orange astrals. Do not buy purple astrals, they are not so rare to get, save always for orange.

5. My Guild and me.

Have a good guild is really noticiable on your character. You can contribute to your guild everyday and with no limit. For each 1.000 gold you contribute you will gain 1 contribution point that can be used to purchase permanent buffs in the guild skills (really recomended) buy items on the guild shop like lucky stones when you can't handle to get them in dungeons/rewards and to spin the guild Altar.
Don't need to worry about how much you can contribute to your guild, just follow the next trick to save gold and get contributions points. Do you remember what i said about plunder other player for gold? well, to avoid it to happend every day when you are about to leave or you will not waste more gold in aything else, contribute all your gold. This kill two birds with one stone, raise your contribution points and don't give any gold to plunders, seriously, this last part is important, is better contribute a whole million to the guild that gives 100k to a plunder.
The priority to waste your contribution points should be the guild skills, that improves gratly your BR but they are not cheap and remeber that even if you are a knight raise your intellect will give you MDEF ^^
When you are close to change your equip, i.e. from lv35 pvp set to lv45 is better to don't waste your contributions points cause you may need to purchase lucky stones.
Once you are done with skills and if don't will need lucky stones soon spend all spining the Altar, you can get really good things here like socketing rods.

Epilogue.
I make this guide cause i'm tired of plunder players for kyanite and got 100k+ gold from they. Also i have waste a lot of gold enchancing equip doing it wrong or converting gems (i'm patient but not for games). I will not lie, i want the prizes but if i did something good here could be awesome if the guide remains in the forum for everyone looking for help. So, any contribution to the guide will be apreciate and more in terms of spelling since english isn't my native language and i'm not good at it.

See you ~

it wud be great if players could make a New Topic for their Guide and after they have cmpleted their guild they can post the link of it here this way you Guild if selected and is very good can be moved to Wartune Guild Section Where Many Other players can access it or find it easily...

instead of posting your guild in reply here where it can not be as accessable to other player as it could if its in forum as a Topic...^^
