Fortification System

This is a system that you level up your weapons, hats and clothes by fortifying them, and the higher the fortifying level is, the greater the risk will be, but the attribute of the items will also be higher after you succeed. The fortification can be done only if you have the energy stone and material for the fortification. The materials for the fortification include Amulet and Divine Amulet. The Amulet 25% can add 25% chance of your current success rate, and the Amulet 15% can add 15% chance of your current success rate. The Divine Amulet can help you keep the level of your voucher articles when they fail in fortifying.



Every fortification can add 10% damage of your weapon or the 10% shield of your clothes/hat, the percentage of basic damage and shield improved by different fortifying level is as follows:

Fortification tips/ merhods

Today I will be showing you how to succeed at fortification of equipment nice and quickly and maybe first time .

Fail Synthesization method : Fail Synthesizing equipment at least 10 times ( with a lv4 or lv5 syn stone ) , because the system has just seen you haver failed a process +10 times , it will be a higher chance of the system letting you succeed now .

Counting Method : Count the amount of % there is of successing to fortify , for example : if success rate is 20.3 % , count for 20 seconds and if success rate is 8.1 % , count for 8 seconds and etc .

Now a few tips :



  • It's best to fortify at a time when people are less likely to fortify or there are less people on in general . So the best time section for whatever time zone would be 23:00 - 05: 00 , because not as many people are on in that time section .

    If you are going to buy 15 % or 25 % amulet in the shop , do not !
    The system will not link it with your fortification , so buy amulets trough armory !

    If you see someone suceed +7 - +12 , do NOT attempt to fortify , it is very likely that you will fail .

    And remember , never keep trying !

How to use the Armory.
The Armory!

Introduction
The Armory is probably the most used system on DDTank besides Game House, Boatyard and Shop. It is use to improve equipments such as Weapon, Outfit, Hat, Jewelry, Arms and othe equipments. The Armory has 5 functions which are Fortify, Decorate, Synthesize, Convert and also Metallurgy (a.k.a Smelt).
The Armory can be found on the "Main Screen", Inventory and League "Screen".

How to use it?
 

The Fortification System


The Fortification System upgrades your equipments, such as weapons, outfit, hat and arms only!

Items needed:

  • Equipments (Weapons, Hats, Outfit and Arms that are lower than level 12)
  • Energy Stones
  • Divine Amulet (Recommend for fortification above level 5 -- Prevent equipments dropping a level after a fail fortification)
  • 15/25% Amulet (Optional -- Increase the percentage)
  • League Boost or Vip Boost (Optional -- Increase the percentage)

How to use this system?
Before you can start forting, you will have to have all the items that are needed. Once you have all the items, you can start using the system. You will have to place the equipment you want to upgrade in the equipment slot. Next, you have to place 1-3 energy stones in the Energy Stones slots. If you are upgrading a level 5 and above weapon, please use a Divine Amulet to prevent from dropping a level after a fail fortification. Once you're ready to fort, click "Fortify".
You can also put 15/25% Amulet for extra boost.

Facts:

  1. After every succesful Fortification, your weapon will have 10% more damage ; your hat and outfit will have 10% more protection against enemy attacks.
  2. The higher the level of Fortification, the more difficult (lower percentage) it will be to successfully fortify your item to the next level. Amulets and higher level energy stones will be helpful.
  3. If you are fail to fort a level 5 or more weapon, your weapon will drop a level. You can prevent by using a Divine Amulet.
  4. Most weapons will change form once it reaches +10 and +12.
 



 
The Decoration System


The Decoration System is used to insert/decorates pearl onto your equipments. This will add a special effect. Items that can be decorate are Weapons, Outfits and Hats. Each equipment will have 6 pearl slot. (4 can be unlock after +3, +6, +9 and +12 Fortification on the specific item ; 2 can be unlock by using Drills on it)

Items needed:


  • Equipments that are level 3,6,9 or 12.
  • Pearls (Offense, Defense and Attribute)
  • Drills (To Unlock the extra pearl slots)

How to use this system?
This system is easy to use.You just have prepare all things that are needed and then insert a pearl that you would like to add into the weapons.

Facts:

  1. There are 3 category of Pearls, Offense, Defense and Attribute. Each pearls have many types of effects.
  2. It will cost 500 Coins to remove a pearl. (In Cerberus, people tend to buy new pearls instead of paying to take out a pearl because it is cheaper!)
  3. Offense Pearls adds effects during attacks; Defense Pearl activates when someone attacks you; Attribute Pearls adjusts the equipements' attributes.
  4. Will always success
 




 
The Synthesize System


The Synthesis System is used to add attributes from Synthesize Stone to your equipments:

Items needed:


  • Equipments. (Weapons, Hat, Outfit, Jewelries, Glasses only)
  • Synthesize Stones. (level 1-5 Vermillion, Serpent, Dragon, Tiger)
  • 15-25% Amulets (Optional -- to add success rate)

How to use this system?
This is also simple to use. You just have to place any equipments in the equipment slot. Then, you place a synthesize stone in the Syn Stone slot.

Facts:

  1. There are four types of Synth Stones from level 1-5.
    a)Vermillion- Adds Offense attribute.
    b)Serpent- Adds Defense attribute
    c)Dragon- Adds Agility attribute
    d)Tiger- Adds Luck attribute
  2. All equipments can be enhanced by Synth Stone.
  3. Level 1 Synth Stone has 80% Success Rate, Level 2 Synth Stone has 50% Success Rate, Level 3 Synth Stone has 30% Success Rate, Level 4 Synth Stone has 10% Success Rate, Level 5 Synth Stone has 5% Success Rate.
 



 
The Conversion System


The Conversion System transfers the attribute of one equipment to another (same type) equipments.

Items needed:


  • Any Equipments.
  • 10k Golds for each conversion.

How to use this system?
This is the easiest system in the armory! You just have to place 2 same type of equipments in the two slots. Then click "convert". Requires 10k gold for one conversion.

Facts:

  1. You'll always have a successful conversion.
  2. Only "Excellent" quality or above can have their attributes converted. (Ak-47 and hatchet are example of item that can't be converted)
  3. The original and target equipment should be of the same category.
  4. The attributes on both equipments will switched.
 


 
The Metallurgy/Smelt System


The Smelting system helps you to convert a low level items into a higher level items.

Items needed:


  • Items, such as Synth Stones, Energy Stones, Pearl, Jewelries, Holy Stones and some other stuff.
  • A certain amount of gold.

How to use this system?
You just need a certain amount of gold and anything that you would like to convert to a higher level items. The type of smelting item will determine the item type you can produced by smelting. You can only smelt when the 4 slots are full.

Facts:

  1. 4 same types of items or pieces can be smelted into a higher level item.
  2. The validity of smelting item is the shortest in the smelting items. (The validity of equipments required to smelt must be above 3 days or above)
  3. Jewelries that are bought using voucher can't be smelt.

DDtank Guide

Fortification
1.Go to armory from either the homepage or through your bag.
2.you will need energy stones to upgrade your equipment
3.all equipment up to Lv4 does not need a divine amulet. above lv4 divine is needed
4.once you have fortified your equipment to lv3,9,12 pearl holes will appear
4.it is advised to save up lots of energy stones so you can spam them which gives you more chance of success
5.best time to fortify is when there is less people on-line in the server
6.fail alot of synthesis/meturlagy so you'll have a better chance of succeeding fortification
7.25% and 15% amulets help increase success rate (best to buy them in armory rather than shop)

Tips for Saving Metals

Fortification for Beginners
This guide is mostly for beginners.

SAVING MEDALS:
- I know you're eager to buy those level 5 energy stones, but before you do take a second look at those prices:

So here's your options for getting an ES Lv 5:
Option 1: Just buy an ES5 for 30 medals.
Option 2: Buy 4 ES4's and use metallurgy to make an ES5: 7 x 4 = 28 medals.

I know what you're thinking: Well, what's the success rate for metallurgy for ES5?
Well, here's your answer:



So my point is, save yourself some medals and buy 4 ES4's instead of 1 ES5.

Also, to the less experienced players out there- I suggest focusing on saving up medals and fortifying your items to up your power instead of focusing on gaining exp. Why? When you join sports fights, you'll be stronger than the average players at your level. It's no fun being a high level with low power, trust me. You'll have a very low success rate by the end of your playing career. This means using your metals solely for energy stones, not exp potions.

I know saving 2 metals may not sound like much, but it really adds up. And although focusing on power and not leveling may not sound too fun, you'll be thanking yourself for doing it later on.

So there's my short spiel on metals and beginner's tips. Bye guys and have fun! ^^
