PvP Heavy?

How PvP heavy this Scarlet Blade going to be?
I enjoy MMO games but I'm not a big fan of PvP in them, so I've been wondering how heavy is the PvP going to be in Scarlet Blade? Are there going to be PvE servers for players who play a game to enjoy partying and questing without the worry of being drawn into PvP but can participate in it if they like and other servers for players who like PvP throughout the entire game or is PvP going to be throughout the open world for the game and there won't be anyway to avoid it regardless of server?

You can just decline a PvP req can't you? But if you mean them PK'ers, I think there will be safe zones here and there so you can't get PK'ed by them PK'ers

SB is a pvp game, that's a statement.
You can not going into Bg if you don't want, but some zones are neutral zones where FvF exist.
There's different way to up your characters, so you don't really need to go in pvp but you will probably want to take some points to add the pvp skills in your bar.

From my point of view (i'm a pvp player) skipping pvp in Sb is sad, because it's fun (i'm not judging, just my personnal opinion).
If i can motivate you like that . The better rewards are on WB and chest of neutral zones Very Happy

SB pvp is the best. Wink Traditional Repetitive PVE is boring and hardly rewarding.

I've never been a fan of PvP. Anytime I tried it in the past, it usually went; head into battle, die, revive, repeat. Never got anything for kills because everyone hit harder than me and dropped me in a hit or two while I wailed on them to no avail. Things like that take away one's taste for PvP since there isn't much fun in just dying all the time. That being the case, what makes the PvP in SB different from the PvP in every other MMO I've played?

PvE players have requested PvE options (PvE server, ect.) and unless they've changed the official game site FAQ it makes no mention of "forced PvP" within it's description of PvP in the game.

Whether Aeria will actually do something for it's PvE players that don't want to put up with griefing and ganking remains to be seen.

I'm still in the stance of letting the PvP player have what they want but not forcing the PvE folks to have to deal with it if they don't want to so everybody can log in and play for the sheer result of having fun. I don't want anything taking away from PvP players, but I also don't want the PvE community to suffer for it. This game is fairly new (even the Korean version), and there's no excuse for a newer game not having more options for different types of players.

What Aeria actually intends to do is anybody's guess.

Yes, SB is very PvP heavy.
Honestly, if you don't want to PvP this isn't the game for you. It is heavily PvP focused, and once 40+ content comes you will be forced into open-world PvP zones to level. There are also some skills and equipment that you can only get with Ranking Points, and the only one to obtain those is through PvP.
All end-game content is also PvP driven so you'd probably get bored very quickly unless you decide to do the same dungeon over and over. Given you get through the hours upon hours of grinding to level you'd have to do since you aren't PvPing.

I honestly can't see LivePlex agreeing to make the game comfortable for PvE even if Aeria requested it. They would need to change a lot of mechanics like zones and how Ranking Points and Exp are obtained.

Even if they just added a toggle for open zones where you have the choice to enter PvP mode or not, this would ruin some of the late-game escort quests. Plus you'd still need to do battlegrounds.
