I am in rank 4 guild and this is 2nd week in a row that we are against skyrim in 1st round.
And that instantly knocks us to 9th place. so was wondering what happens after new patch?
do we not get in gw the rest of the week?
and are 1st round match ups completely random?

It wasnt beofre last week. Its was predictable before. Rank 1 vs 16, rank 2 vs 15 etc.
By round 3 normally top 4 will meet if none lost previous battle. rank 1 vs rank 4 and rank 2 vs rank 3.
This weird matchup started last week and this week its even weirder. Top 8 rank guild start fighting each other right from Round 1.

Can any GM explain whats happening here. It wasnt random before and we dont have any patch recently. Why this happening now?

I don't know if this has ANYTHING to do with what's going on but there has been a lot of guild strength rank changing going on lately. Might that be messing with the matchups? Could very well be.
