ALL Images shown will have backgrounds on them. They will not be present in the actual design of the weapon itself this is a headsup to the developers.
How to get it:
The seasonal to get Masamune would require you to kill 200 players IN SPORTS FIGHT using **Muramasa for it, that means you have to have it equipped and using it in fights. Also means you have to turn the enemy into a ghost for the kill to count, so digging WILL NOT COUNT as a kill for the Fragments. You can only rack up 10 fragments per day max, Seasonal task will only last 3 weeks tops. Epic Task would require you to get 36 Shreds from 4vs4 league fights you can only get 3 shreds per days maximum, AND TRADE IN +10 or higher **Muramasa to get it. Chances of getting Shreds in league fight card flipping will be the same odds as they are for getting weapon cardbox in sports fight. LASTLY for either task to complete the redemption you'll also have to buy a item called "Essence of the Samurai" it'll be in shop. The sword Masamune will go Permanent for 5000 coins. You will also need to have a Permanent **Muramasa to be able to equip Masamune till it's +12. This means you need two **Muramasa one which MUST be Permanent for doing Epic Task and 1 for Seasonal, the one for Seasonal however has to be Perm or Masamune will not be equipped.
Restrictions:
The message when trying to put it on would state: "Cannot equip cannon too weak" Also it can only convert Fortification/Synthesis and pearls from **Muramasa. So you will want to have **Muramasa equipped before entering the armory option of your backpack, Masamune will be able to fortify or be able to Synthesize if **Muramasa is equipped to the player, Conversion on the other hand will only work with this blade if you had **Muramasa equipped before entering the conversion menu that shows all your items. Meaning if you try to convert from **Nugget or *Spear or Keris or Hypercar Masamune will not be present in the list of things you can convert to.
If you don't have **Muramasa equipped you can't convert fortification, pearls and synthesis boosts to it OR Fortify/Synthesize the weapon OR Decorate pearls.
Until Masamune is +12 or higher it can't be used unless you have a BOUND PERMANENT **Muramasa in your backpack. All usage restrictions on Masamune vanish after it's Permanent at +12 or you Gold Cast it.
Once Restrictions on the blade are removed for good it will show the message "Congratulations You have obtained Masamune". This is to show the player that they will no longer have to use **Muramasa if they want to use Masamune and it becomes a full fledged limitless weapon.
While Masamune is under usage Restrictions it will show the weapon with a lock on the top right corner of the picture when in a Characters backpack or on their gear if you look at their character. Lastly the limitation or Restriction will only be waived on the Masamune that passes the requirements for full unlimited use.
Through Epic task or Seasonal Task you can only get this weapon once. After that the task vanishes.
Shreds could be sold in the task interface for 3k each. The Seasonal task you could buy the Tenshi fragments for 700ce. Essence of the Samurai will be in shop for 7k, this is essential to get Masamune through either task. If you're too lazy to try and get Masamune through task you can always try buying Masamune weapon pieces, it will have Junior available and Senior, Junior pieces for 150ce and Senior pieces for 800ce. Success rate for Senior piece metallurgy will be under 10%. The pieces are available through Heroic boats and shop only. It may show up in promotions later, depends on the ones holding said events. I'd advise 200k+ top up event for it or raffle though.
Origin of the name:
Muramasa is the name of Masamune's student in Japanese legend. Masamune being the name of Muramasa's master. Masamune crafted swords that cut based off judgement of it's wielder and wouldn't harm those that were innocent. Muramasa made swords that were to cut anything down and everything down blindly like a demon ignoring the teachings his master embedded into his heart and soul. This led to them fighting. The weapon represents what happens if Muramasa finally listens to his Master. The concept of how the attacks work and why both are in this setup is to reflect this despite the troubles both had from their disagreements.

Normal Attack would be just be Masamune being thrown.
+0, +10, +12 will all have this as the normal unbuffed throw.
+12 Normal Attack:

Digging or +2 twice for +0 is throwing the scabbard of the tanto sized Masamune.
Digging or +2 twice would be throwing the scabbards of both Masamune and Muramasa
(+10 and +12 only)

Bash throwing Masamune with 2 slices of wind around the blade
(+0 only)
Bash for +10 is throwing Masamune with slightly black and blue wind surrounding the tip
Bash for +12 Masamune is hurled surrounded by dark blue winds swirling rapidly around the blade.

Impacts:
+0
Silver mist then dark blue slash circling counter-clockwise outwards.
+10
28 platinum cuts in a controlled motion as if deflecting shuriken from self.
+12
As it hits whatever is in the way, it will explode into a bluish silver mist then a slashing motion that covers half the mist with dark blue and blood red slashing marks 28 total would emerge 1/4th a second later in a darker tint. This will apply to all the explosions Masamune makes except pow which will differ a touch.
The dig of the weapon will be about the same as Muramasa's to not throw the player off too bad.
Pows:
+0 will be coating the blade in blue wind. It will explode as described in the +0 impact description.
+10 cloaked in wind afflicted Platinum and crimson mist followed by 26 cuts of jet black then a cross strike like a X, slashing marks at end will be red like a demons eyes.
+12 would be throwing Muramasa and Masamune together, so in the cases of using add 1 assault it would be Masamune then Muramasa thrown next. Should it be add 2 it would be Masamune ending the combo. It would alternate based off how many hits are thrown out.
Odd number Masamune hits last, Even Number Muramasa hits last. Masamune would be glowing silvery Blue like the Blue you'd see in the Blue Moon once a semester or so. Muramasa glowing a dark confused red that you'd see on the Red Moon after you saw the Blue Moon usually the night after.
When Masamune hits the object with pow it will explode into a 26 controlled cutting motion hitting everywhere as if cutting arrows out of the sky, the slashes would be of course dark blue while the mist that projects from the explosion would be dark platinum the shade you'd find when you'd be cleaning a charred piece of silver. If there is a 2nd hit a dark red moon waning clockwise. will appear in the mist 1/2 a second after the slashing ceases to indicate Muramasa is going to be thrown. Muramasa will keep it's rampant flurry of slashes from it's +10 state however it will flick out like ripples in water, the slashing marks will retain it's blood red color since Muramasa's nature is to seek bloodshed. Should Masamune be hitting after Muramasa hits a dark blue moon will show and wane counter-clockwise. When the moon wanes it'll only be visible for 1/4th a second, long enough to go ooh and ah but not long enough to become a bore this applies to when the moon shows from Masamune showing Muramasa is going to hit or vice versa.
Appearance:
+0
Plain black handle, golden compress to hold the tang in the handle. A blue knot hanging off the side of the sheath. It's size compared to the +12 is that of a tanto, as it's lower in fortification it should be smaller to boot.
+10
The handle shrinks down to black widened and needle like, a silver insignia on the bottom part of the handle as it connects to the blade through the tang. A dark blue piece meshing the blade and tang to the hand piece. It's going to be accompanied by a small Muramasa colored dark red on the scabbard, black on the top with a gold cap on the bottom of it.
+12:
The color scheme would be Black, Silver and Blue, instead of 3 swords it's just 2, the Masamune and Muramasa on the back hanging on with a black blood slivered with blood ruby on the sheathe and handle. Masumune would be Blue and Black on the scabbard and grip, has a Silver outlining to show where the tang was wedded to the handle wrapped in black bindings.
