How are you guys evolving?

Hey all,

I was wondering how are you guys evolving your immortals. I have been just playing around (mostly wasted a bunch of immortals lol) collecting artwork. As I get serious now, I was wondering what are your strategies?

I came from Legend of Cryptids and Rage of Bahamut. The Perfect Max in LoC was much easier to attain. I was wondering are you guys going for the Perfect Max in this game?

Without safe trading, it seems quite hard to get a Perfect 8-card max. Anyways wanted to hear what you guys are doing Wink

I'd appreciate an explanation as to what these numbers mean. I've seen them referred to on the message boards and here but still do not have any understanding behind them. Like what does 8-1 mean as compared to, say, 4-7?

These evolution numbers are based on Rage of Bahamut's evolution, but the way it works should be about the same.

What it means, is basically... for example,

in this case of "4-1: 86.629%", left side "4" represents the number of cards used to reach final form of evolution, right side "1" represents the number of times the card was maxed (in this case, it would be when it was fully evolved" and "86.629%" would mean that the max atk/def you reached when you evolved 4 cards without maxing any of them beforehand is actually 86.629% of the card's full potential/full max atk/def that it can reach.

8-1 would mean the same thing, basically like,

(R+R)+(R+R)=(R+)+(R+)=(R++) - 4 cards used here
(R+R)+(R+R)=(R+)+(R+)=(R++) - 4 more cards used here
(R++)+(R++)=HR (which is then, used as target for sacrifice to reach full potential)

in other words, 8-15 would mean:

(maxed R + maxed R) + (maxed R + maxed R) -> (maxed R+) + (maxed R+) -> (R++) - cards are maxed 6 times here, in total
(maxed R + maxed R) + (maxed R + maxed R) -> (maxed R+) + (maxed R+) -> (R++) - cards are maxed 6 more times here, 12 total

then finally,
(maxed R++) + (maxed R++) -> maxed HR - cards are maxed 3 times here, making it 15 times total. 8 cards used, therefore "8-15", and the final maxed atk/def is the 100% potential of the card.

I hope this explanation helps.

FYI - I know its for another game, but based on the logic (both games use a 4 card evolve system), math and the fact both games use 5%/10% carryover should mean the numbers are about right.

Thanks for the numbers.

I'm new to this game. Could I check how some of you are actually doing the evolution in the game?

Offhand, I think "4-3: 95%" is good enough for me. So what's the best way to do it?

Max out 3 of the 4 base cards then evolve them? e.g. (((R(max) + R (max)) + R(max)) + R)

or max out the higher level card? e.g. max out the R++, R+, R at each evolution and combine them with a base R card?

Always the card with the higher base stat. For 4-3 it'd be

(R)+(R)=R+
(maxed R+)+(R)=R++
(maxed R++)+(R)=HR (which is then maxed)

Great discussion hehe... but has anybody successfully created a 8-15 here? without trading (only gifting) it is pretty hard to come by feeders and copies of rares... just wanted to know everybody's strategies and ideas Wink

Frascht, you gave an example of a 4-2, isn't it? The final maxing doesn't count.

And in your 4-2 example, wouldn't:

R+R=R+
(R+)+R=R++
(MaxR++)+(MaxR)=HR

Be better?
