I think user incentive is a very good thing to have for awarding you for game time. Like milestones when you play for a certain amount of time you receive a reward nothing to game breaking though.

Something small like maybe a symbol next to your name showing your devotion to playing and other cool stuff

I like the idea similar to Eden Eternal after level 40 where you can get 2 eternal coins every 2 hours but you got to talk to npc to get a box before next 2 hours will start. Eternal coins were used to get some items off of the free user's cash shop so having something like that in Scarlet Blade is a brilliant idea.
