For everyone's amusement:
When you rely on something that's a bug for your "skill", are you just a one-trick pony?
There are other things that are a more integral part of the game's mechanics (partying and so on) that should be more important when considering changing something in the game. If this is a bug, then they should fix it. Tough luck for the "pro" players. I can deal with this being in the game, but I'd prefer it not to be now that I'm more aware of it.
There's so much chest-thumping in this thread that we could make an entire drum orchestra! Please continue thinking that you're the best player ever. You can do that without trying to push the OP into the dirt.
The OP does not have some sense of moral superiority, contrary to what others think. They felt something was wrong and wanted to talk about it. It's not anything personal between them and the mage they mention (or anyone else here for that matter).
Yeah, everyone who does not AC is a n00b. It's not like we can consider the mechanics already built into the game, party strategies, and character builds as a way to improve performance in game. Nope. Definitely not an answer. Everyone should AC. It's the only option. (sarcasm)
I'm not someone who plays looking for trouble. From the posts in this thread, I've learned that doing this isn't recommended. Besides, I will survive without it, so I'm not going to do it.
