Lag Spikes every 2 minutes ;-;

Okay so I decided to pick up this game today and when I log in I get lag spikes about every 2 minutes. I thought that if I would restart the game/application then it would work. I was wrong. I decided to restart my computer. Nope. I restarted my internet. Nope. I realize that these steps may or may not have helped this certain situation but I decided to do it anyways. Anyways I looked online for stuff that could help resolve this problem but most of them were about recent updates therefore it was fixed. I played this game the night before with no lag spikes whatsoever. Anyone help pls?

Hey ixJoongDragneel,

This error may be caused by problems with your internet cache. Your main browser is directly liked to the internet which AVA runs off of and is therefore directly effected by cookies and internet cache.

Try taking a look at this link: http://www.aeriagames.com/forums/en/viewtopic.php?t=1809523

It is a list of programs that may help you get ingame.

The program from the list that I recommend is CCleaner. CCleaner is a free program that will clear your browser history and internet cache as well as remove useless files and documents which will all help optimize your PC as a whole.

You may also want to take a look at Game Booster. It will clear all of the processes that lag your game and/or may be hindering you from getting ingame.

Hope this helps

Thank you for being the only one replying to my problem Very Happy. Although you listed those programs within the link, I already have those programs installed. Do you have any other ideas that may fix my lag spikes? If so, thank you Very Happy.

The reason you get these lagg spikes may be that the servers are overloaded. As yesterday there was a maintenance, which is usually performed on wednesdays. So yesterday the server got pretty much overloaded because alot of users tried to get online at the same time.

Is your pc directly connected to your modem? If not i would recomend to take a look at this link: http://www.ehow.com/how_7620152_fix-wireless-lag-spikes.html

Are the servers still being overloaded? I am still experiencing lag spikes. I am sorry if I am in aggravation mode for some people, but I want to get at least two kills without lag spikes or even dying in the middle of the field.

Was I supposed to go to the server nearest me? If so, here is the link:http://www.speedtest.net/result/2528942670.png

Hey Joong! Smile

Hmm... you actually have a pretty good connection in my opinion.

Are you the only one connection to your internet or is somebody else using your internet?

You have 48 base MS, which can be bad since I only have 5 MS. It could mean your MS is building quickly, therefore causing the lag spikes. Now have you disabled non-essential programs and tried again to see if it keeps the lag from building? Does your computer meet the minimum requirements? Are you using a wifi/lan network?

I can run A.V.A perfectly fine. I have disabled programs that are not needed for gaming. I have using a wired connection to the internet.
