This is rumor and rumor ONLY. If GMs post word about it as a major change, then believe it. As it stands, Shaiya was designed to be more difficult the higher you move up in level. If you want to be level 80, you have to take the risks and difficulties at the higher level. Nobody said going up in level was going to be a cakewalk.
This rumor keeps getting passed around every week in HOPES that the gullible and less knowledgable will think it's true and not invade with 71+ toons. It's not going to happen. Invaders are going to invade and last I heard PR/VR is not going to be closed to 71+ any time soon.
Just a little tidbit for all those who QQ about getting slaughtered in VR/PR at 51-59:
Did you know that you have to be no less than level 60 to enter the other faction's map? You have to be at least level 60 in order to even set foot in KI, the linking map. If you don't want to get killed at that level, go grind in Pando/Lanharr. It's what it's there for. The next bracket 60-70 is your next set of new challenges. No more PvE hand-holding, soldier! Get in there and outwit-outlast-outplay! This is Shaiya Survivor!
