But I suppose Ecthelion kinda nail it; the solution is to just play SD, rather than mini SD. If you are good at SD, you will probably be just as good in FS too. It's basically the same thing.

Oh no, in times past there have been solutions to the problems. The only issue: the community does not want to change for the better. It just does what it wants because the given freedom it has. Yes, the GM's need to fix the game, that's abundantly apparent. However, attitudes need to change, and GM's can't change that.

I argued this too much so it's irrelevant now. Just though I'd throw this out there.

I agree with this. I'm actually sort of surprised Confront is the popular one instead of FS, considering FS is basically all the other game modes put into one.

I really do tire of Confront. It makes things difficult for newbies like myself to get into the game. Confront is PURE PVP. At least in the other modes, there are other ways to get wins.

Oh my god, yes.

It's a shame that it'll never happen. From what I can tell, the only thing people will play is confront, and possibly Destroy from time to time, outside of campaign.

Unless there was mass advertising, but that'll never happen...

It's so sad and annoying what people play and how they play and how unbalanced the factions are and the community to go with it. xd I don't have much to say I grow tired of saying the same known stuff so why even post the same stuff I post that's already known. xd People of all kind please play non confront noobs and non noobs alike please... That's when there aint seriousness as much as in cps and u can still do them while getting treated better hopefully. I've run out of words to describe how things are now. :/

MaskedOne.HD1 Grand Gen+ from DWO hope to see you all in game ^_^ Currently in shu staying in shu next scenarioVery good destroy/cap/defeat player

The only way of CF players getting interested in playing FS is probably having a Guard in one of their teams and playing with Handicap Off.

The good thing is the Guard team could actually win it; instead what would happen in CF's.

The reason no one plays capture/destroy matches is the same as 75% of the problems... lag, except this time in reverse. Most of the server lags, which doesn't help you nearly as much in other game modes. Thus, they end up sucking (and most people can't build a decent capture weapon) and not playing.

But even with the lag, you don't really need to go after a 1vs1 battle in the match.
If you are a decent capturer, just go after bases that are in need or vice-versa.

I find the quality of FS matches is far superior than the CF matches I try to play.

The main issue is that while utter noobs can still win in confronts, it's not the same in FS. Suppress and FS require a coordinated team, and the community isn't right to support that, unless you find a guild that specifically enjoys FS.

Or, I suppose you can do what I hear Lilac Moon does, and just go from base to base like a line of ants, but that gets sort of boring.

Bottom line, it takes more skill and coordination to pull off a successful FS match, because one weak link can ruin the entire match, and spamming one move isn't going to change that.

This. How many of us complain about lag in confronts because it gives someone an advantage? It's not the same in fighting strength because instead of helping you, lag can make things worse. It takes longer for the base to change sides, you can go a full evo and not see an NPC's health go down until you start the next attack, and other issues that are so numerous I don't want to bother naming them.

The only way to fix this is to fix the server, which Aeria obviously doesn't plan to do. If they did, it would have been done already.

Hardly matters though. Eventually the game will die, and then everyone will find another and say, "Remember that crappy game that Aeria didn't give two **** about?"

If the other servers had a wide mix of games then saying the playerbase is at fault would make more sense. I can't speak to the TW or CN servers, but pretty much all the battles at any given time in JP are either confront or farms.
