Question 1: What was the maximum level you reached during Alpha?

Whipper level 29 but it was hard.

Question 2: What level did you have the most trouble with leveling above or did leveling become more difficult?

24-25, at this level it was very hard to get a level up. Or more i need very long to level up. dailys and repeatable i dislike on low level.

Question 3: What are about a few "important" levels that really opened the game up or had really interesting content?

Copy paste by Lestat_anil: At 15 you get to experience the battlegrounds for the first time. At 17 you get your mech, 21 is the quest for your cyberskin (even though you can start wearing it at 20). Then at 23 you get to join Caergate, 25 is the club (aka pet exp area), 20+ there's rare equips/mechs/cyberskins and 30+ there are unique equips/mechs/cyberskins.

more i cant say too ;D

Question 4: If you ever made an alternate character, at what level did you stop leveling them up at?

i make 3 alternate Chars: Medic, Defender and Senitiel. All of them to level 18~19 to check their pvp skills on first time. Also with level 18+ u need longer to get a Level up. i want to show which of them i want to play for the CBT.

i know my english ist bad, so i want to Quote a german Politican : "My english is not the yellow from the egg!" ;P

Feedback

1. I reached level 26 with my whipper.
2. Most trouble with leveling was about lvl 22-23+ , becouse the quests ran out and there were only daily quests left so i did them or grind on monsters.
3. At levels 25-26 was interesting, the ''party house'' looked pretty cool but the dungeon was even cooler (sorry i forgot its name), it was pretty hard but i managed to solo it, very nice dungeon and cool looking bosses.
4. I made shadow walker as my alt but i deleted it before reaching level 10 with it since i preferred playing with whipper, not that SW is bad, its great class, but i like whipper for its AOD abilities to take out many monsters at once.

Question 1: What was the maximum level you reached during Alpha?

Punisher lvl 29

Question 2: What level did you have the most trouble with leveling above or did leveling become more difficult?

I didn't have to grind before the level 27 to 28 but I did a lot of PvP battles. However with my medic (lv 20) the grind starts at lvl 18 ><

You need to do PvP to xp fast, so I guess the level up will be really hard for PvE players (and medics Razz )
Plus with more players, you'll get more xp in PvP and less mobs to grind in PvE.

Question 3: What are about a few "important" levels that really opened the game up or had really interesting content?

Level 15 for Janus, 17 for the mech and 23 for Caergate (open PvP zone).

Question 4: If you ever made an alternate character, at what level did you stop leveling them up at?

I had a medic lvl 20. Other toons didn't go farther than lvl 10.

Question 1: What was the maximum level you reached during Alpha?
29 medic

Question 2: What level did you have the most trouble with leveling above or did leveling become more difficult?
At 20+ leveling become harder, but i dont mind that, as i tried to do all battlegrounds and dailies to help me level faster, and in that case leveling was pretty enjoyable.

Question 3: What are about a few "important" levels that really opened the game up or had really interesting content?
Lvl 15+ opened first battleground which i really enjoyed, lvl 20+ opened second battleground which i enjoyed even more, also lvl 23+ opened pvp zone Caergate with bosses and lots of fun.

Question 4: If you ever made an alternate character, at what level did you stop leveling them up at?
I just leveled new medic, becouse skills choice on first one was pretty wrong in my opinion. First medic was lvl25, second lvl29.

>27 Punisher.
>I havent found any difficulties with SB leveling, since it's quite easy in my opinion. With or without use exploit method for it.
>15, 17, 23.
>prob at 9, but i'm pretty sure if capped at 29 like aplha, i can maxed a char in a few days.

Question 1: What was the maximum level you reached during Alpha?

Lets see I played 2 characters the first one I hit 27 the second i hit 28.

Question 2: What level did you have the most trouble with leveling above or did leveling become more difficult?

The most trouble of levels for me had to be after 26 where even doing bg's wasnt enough i had to grind a little or do bitterstone.

Question 3: What are about a few "important" levels that really opened the game up or had really interesting content?

Content started to get interesting around 15+ when we could do janus my favorite bg and at 20 when we could do turnpike for chest which gave good drops even though i didn't like turnpike much. I liked the mechs and suits we got as we leveled or after 25+ being able to go the to lounge and VIP room. I enjoyed killing those bosses in caergate not to mention killing people in the pvp zones and doing the escort quest.

Question 4: If you ever made an alternate character, at what level did you stop leveling them up at?

I had made 1 extra character to see how she played and i got her to about 28, i would of gotten to 29 but it was almost over so i stopped at 28.

I did not play the alpha, but I'd like to share a few things from my FFXI days.

They had the old days of partying to kill things slowly and maybe gain 1 level per 4 hours playing in a party of 6. This was quite terrible and boring.

They then had the successful days of Abyssea, which had a lot of great things that sped up exp gain like random chests dropped that gave 1.500 exp when "blue lights" were maxed out. The penalties of forming an alliance for exping was also removed so you had more people killing, making the exp flow faster. Another vital change was that you could boost "gold lights" until each monster gave like 400 exp each, instead of their initial 100 exp or so.

With Abyssea, you really didn't mind the 44 000 tnl, because it was less than an hour away. It also helped alliviate the pain of dying in PvE where you lost 2400 exp on returning to your home point, or 1200 exp on being revived. This made people overall much happier.

Another thing that made Abyssea a hit, was that you got that extra power unlocked that was limited in the rest of the game. Like you had +50 STR and such, and actually could explore new methods of playing, like tanking on monks or melee with mages. This removed the monotomy of always playing the same way.

So a few things I'd really like to see in Scarlet blade are:
- No exp penalties on group sizes. (This is the most anti-MMO design that MMOs ever have)
- Random exp boost drops like chests so that occasionally you get a happy boost from your kill
- Special areas where you get to be super buffed while exping. (Naturally not anywhere near PvP areas)

Question 1: What was the maximum level you reached during Alpha?

23. I started 3 days before end of alpha.

Question 2: What level did you have the most trouble with leveling above or did leveling become more difficult?

Probably 23. The higher lvl you are, the longer it takes, and its getting harder.

Question 3: What are about a few "important" levels that really opened the game up or had really interesting content?

Battelgrounds at 15+ is the moment when game really starts. Great idea is that pvp zones have lvl range, so even low lvls can enjoy.

Question 4: If you ever made an alternate character, at what level did you stop leveling them up at?

hmmmm. probably somewhere betwen 20 and 24.
