Character Names for Aeria Games Won't Work??

Someone, please help. I enter the name regularly, then when I press enter, it ends up in weird symbols and numbers and letters. Is there anyway to fix this? Can I enter the letters straight into the text box without the string? Please help, I really want to play... It does this with Eden Eternal, as well... Sad

No idea. x.x But, are you sure your not typing in another language? A similar problem happened to me when I was accidently typing in another language. If not, I have no idea. Sorry. Mad

I suggest you try running a full patch scan ^^ If not, try un-install the whole GF then re-dowload it.

I don't believe you can use special characters like "_" or "-" when selecting a name... with maybe the exception of name change scrolls (I'm not sure about that tbh).

As the above poster said, no special characters or symbols can be used in your in-game name. The same name rules apply when you buy a Name Change Scroll and request a name change for your character.
