Okay, so it's been plaguing me for awhile but I can't seem to find any dyes. Everytime I see a dye merchant, they either have the colors that I don't like or my level is to high.

Since this is a general topic, I welcome someone's knowledge on this.

Unfortunately, those are the only dyes you can buy from vendors (at least that I know of). Otherwise, you have to get a random dye from the Auction House, or pirate/Roger raid (chance to get one), or the Item Mall.

To add onto what Valkita said, alternatively, you can get random colors (Edit: it is random colors that you get from guild town quests, not too sure if you get anything else from there or not) from doing guild town quests. As well, you can do repeatable quests for Alpaca Coins and try your chances at getting specific character dyes from the machines located in Tranquil Hill (or Highlands, but those ones in this case are irrelevant).
