Also, one more thing I messed around with since I thought the colors were wack, a wide variety of reduced color M4s:

And slightly different model:

I am in no way taking credit for these designs, I simply did a few color tricks on Raiden's original design, credits still go to him.

Interesting design. I hope it actually ends up looking like that if it were implemented into game.

IMO the design is over saturated, meaning that the colors are too bright and cover up too much of the gun. When this happens, 1) It can hurt the viewers eyes, and 2) The design loses quality and becomes pixelated, which is happening in this picture.

It would look MUCH cleaner if the design was an overlay, not simply "painted on." By that i'm talking about making it semi-transparent, or faded, so the design looks like it is actually part of the gun, not a layer on top of it. One more thing, I would erase some of the design to keep the originality of the gun.

Of course I'm picky because I am a graphics designer, and players might think it's neat, but that's just what I think about the design.

Instead of explaining everything, I did a preview for you.:
Before

After

There is still a lot more work to be done IMO, but that was a quick edit that makes it looks cleaner.

Finally a good critic and the other m4's you made with the changed colors don't have anything to do with psychedelic.. that's why this m4 I made is perfect for the name "psychedelic m4a1" and the colors must be like that else it's not a psychedelic m4 anymore. The changes you did are nice but it's just simply no psychedelic m4 anymore.

Those were just for fun and looks. If you plan on taking my advice and finishing the gun, I would do something similar to my first edit, but brighten the important parts, such as the eye and the middle of the gun. Also, the curvy lines, as demonstrated on the fun designs.

Other than that, since you plan on sticking to the name and meaning behind the M4, I think it would look nice.

Hmm yeah, I'll probably do that but I have no time, like today I worked over 14 hours and came back home and I'm really tired I'll probably finish it on weekend.
