Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close
A nine-year-old amateur inventor, Francophile, and pacifist searches New York City for the lock that matches a mysterious key left behind by his father, who died in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

Indie Films ftw!!!!

I had a bout of watching a bunch of indie films with my buds at the last school I went to, and we came across this one. Amazing story, beautifully tragic characters, and a really really creative and intelligent world to lose yourself in.

Leon The Professional:

A very good movie about a man who takes in a young girl and trains her to be an assassin! Best known for "The Ring Trick" that makes me laugh every time. Some funny moments and a really good ending. Always wished there was a sequel.

Dazed and Confused:

What's not to like? Back in the days when kids owned muscle cars and the soundtrack to life was the best music time had to offer so far! Simple story of kids living their lives during the last few days of school before summer starts! And yes a whole lot of Marijuana....

Secondhand Lions:

One of the few movies that can make me laugh just as hard no matter how many times I watch it as the old men remind me of my grandfathers perfectly. About a boy who has to go live with his estranged uncles on their "farm" and learns more about them as well as himself.

Dramatic movie, heartfelt transformation of the main character to a person who truly had genuine feelings. Sacrifice at it's best.

40 years ago I loved me some:

Why? Because it makes me happy! Who the heck can't love Pooh?

20 years later it was:

Becasue I was one of these, you'll have to guess which one...mah ha ha ha!

And now, at 40+ right back where I started in love with:

The Breakfast Club should give away why I like this movie so much...MAH HA HA HA HA!

What do you expect from an old gamer chick? Razz
