DWO server derpin'

Lately i've noticed a rather large increase in lag from other players and most likely myself too.
Not sure if anybody else has noticed it or not.
I took some SS's. This is just one of them.
Perhaps the high pings have something to contribute to the lag lately?

Atm, the ping range is back within the normal range. However, the server has been acting up for the last couple of weeks from what I've seen when checking gss. The site has shown double the normal ping for a significant amount of time, with such a state not being a major cause for concern to most players. However, triple+ is too unstable imo. If anyone has pics for such lengthy periods of instability, please post them here. If you don't mind, try to spread your pics out so that a reasonable amount of time has passed between them. If the instability becomes too common, I'll refer a GM to this thread and see if they can respond to the problem.

That's what i've noticed also. Perhaps it my be something to do with the latest patch we received?

Should this be happening?

I've noticed the login server's "Last status change" keep resetting to 0 quite often. Been monitoring it for about 2 hours, and this is the 4th or so time the count has gone to 0.

Edit:

2nd SS

3rd SS

Note: If you notice at the bottom line in each screenshot, which shows the last update, the difference between SS #2 and SS #3 is only 6 minutes.

My question is, should the login server be resetting its time count to 0 so often?

A few days ago, I kept DC over and over again. That explains it.

I don't know about you, but i've noticed that I myself have been getting red ring at stupidly random moments lol. Sometimes it lasts for a minute or two, sometimes it lasts for an hour or 2 lol.

And this red ring has only been happening ever since last maintenance i've noticed. Kinda depressing since I can't even do a decent confront without lagging like mofo xD

In the past, such changes usually appear with a server hiccup or during maintenance. Signs of the former are 1000 ping on gss, the marker being red, and people red ringing/dcing regardless of connection quality. Why the "last status change" column would be changing so frequently without significantly disrupting game play is beyond me. The site's admins would be better able to answer your question.
